Product Information

The Q tv remote from Quadro is a user-friendly remote control designed for use with the Q tv service. It features a range of buttons for easy navigation and control of your TV and Set Top Box (STB). The remote also includes additional features such as voice control and access to various apps. The remote operates using infrared (IR) technology and requires two AAA batteries.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Power on the television and the Qtv Set Top Box (STB): Ensure that both the TV and STB are powered on before using the remote.
2. Access the Channel Guide: Press the Guide button to access the Channel Guide. To exit, press the Back/Exit button twice.
3. Navigate the Q tv Guide: Use the Arrow buttons to move around the Q tv Guide. Use the Select/OK button to make selections.
4. Return to the Q tv App: To return to the Q tv App, select Menu, Live, Last, Guide, Shows, or Movies.
5. View other channels: Press the up or down Arrow buttons to navigate through different channels in the guide.
6. View other times: Press the left or right Arrow buttons to go forward or return to the current time in the guide.
7. Tune to a channel: Press the Select/OK button to see program details. Press OK again to tune to the selected program.
8. Restart a program: To start a program from the beginning, either from Play from the beginning pop-up or from a program, press the OK button. Use the Arrow buttons to highlight Restart and press OK.
9. Record a program: To record a program, either from the guide or while watching a program, press the Record button. If prompted, choose whether to record the current episode only or all episodes based on your preference.
10. Access recordings: Press the Red button located above the ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’ buttons near the top of the remote to access your recordings. You can view your used recording space in the upper right corner.
11. Adjust audio/subtitle settings: Press the SUB/CC button beside the 0 Channel button to turn off/on closed captioning and subtitles.
12. Access Replay TV: Open the Guide, find the desired channel, press the Left Arrow button to see and highlight Replay, and press the OK button.
13. Set Parental Controls: Press the ‘CC’ button, followed by the numbers buttons 0-9, to select a 4-digit PIN. Turn on ‘Restrict’ to enable parental controls.

1. Power on the television on the Qtv Set Top Box (STB).
2. Access the Channel Guide by pressing the Guide button. To exit, press Back/Exit twice.
3. Move around the Q tv Guide with the Arrow buttons and make selections with Select/OK button.

• To return to the Q tv App, select Menu, Live, Last, Guide, Shows or Movies.

FEATURES

• CHANNEL GUIDE:

  • View other channels: Press up or down Arrows buttons to go lower or higher in the guide.
  • View other times: Press left or right Arrows buttons to go forward or return to current time.
  • Tune to a channel: Press Select/OK button to see program details. Press OK again to tune to program.

• RESTART:

  • Restart allows you to start a program that is already in progress from the beginning.
  • From Play from the beginning pop-up: Press OK button.
  • From a program: Press OK button, use Arrows buttons to highlight Restart, press OK.

• RECORD:

  • From the guide: Press Record button. If prompted, choose ‘Record this episode only’ or ‘Record all episodes’ based on preference.
  • From a program: Press Record button. If prompted, choose ‘Record this episode only’ or ‘Record all episodes’ based on preference.

• ACCESS RECORDINGS: Press Red button located above ‘A’ ‘B’ ‘C’ buttons near the top of remote.
  *Note: You can view your used recording space in the upper right corner.

• AUDIO/SUBTITLE (CLOSED CAPTION): Press SUB/CC button beside the 0 Channel button to turn off/on.

• ACCESS REPLAY TV: Open the Guide, find the desired channel, press Left Arrow to see and highlight Replay, and press OK button.

• PARENTAL CONTROLS: Press ‘C’ button, use numbers buttons 0-9 to select a 4 digit PIN. Turn ‘Restrict Mature Content’ ON/OFF
