SETUP/MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
How to power the Sensor/ Access battery
- To access the battery, twist the top half of the sensor in the counterclockwise rotation. Once the casing is off, remove the small plastic tab on the battery terminal.(Note: do not remove the longer plastic underneath the battery.) The battery will be connected and the sensor will automatically be in pairing mode.
- If not in pairing mode press and hold the power/reset button for 5 seconds until flashing rapidly.
Mounting Instructions
When you select your mounting location, make sure the surface area is clean. There are 2 options for mounting:
Option 1:
- Remove the holder from the motion sensor. Place the included adhesive tape on the back of holder. Select your location and mount the holder. Once installed, insert the motion sensor.
- This method is ideal for flat surfaces. For wall mounting, see option 2.
Option 2:
- Remove the holder from the motion sensor. Select your location and use the included screw and wall anchor to mount the holder.
- Once installed, insert the motion sensor into the holder.
Push notifications
In order to receive push notifications when the sensor is activated, enable push notifications in the app settings. (Profile-> Settings-> Enable Push Notifications)

GET STARTED

Download the GLOBE SUITE™ app from the App Store or Google Play to your mobile device.

Launch the GLOBE SUITE™ app.

To register, enter your mobile phone number or email address. Create a password, then login to the app.
OR -
Login if you already have an account.
VERIFY YOUR NETWORK
- Verify your network and ensure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi channel.
- Consult your router documentation for detailed instructions on how to change wireless settings.
- Once your devices have been successfully paired, you can switch back to mixed mode or use a cellular data network to control your smart products.
ADD A DEVICE
- Insert your Sensor.
- Select the “+” symbol on the top right-hand corner.
- Select sensor and follow the instructions within the app.
- If the connection fails, try using AP mode.
ADD A DEVICE: AP MODE
- On the “add a device page” select AP mode on the top right-hand corner and follow the instructions within the app.
- You’re good to go!

Most modern routers are dual band meaning they support both 2.4 GHz and S GHz channels.
The most common wireless options are:
- Mixed: The router will broadcast both 2.4 GHz and S GHz simultaneously under the same SSID. The device will choose which to connect to based on multiple variables (congestion, distance to router etc.).
- 2.4 GHz: Broadcast only on this channel.
- 5 GHz: Broadcast only on this channel.
- Dual 2.4 and 5 GHz using separate SSIDs: Router will broadcast both channels and user manually decides which to connect to.
