Cabinets and cupboards are usually a preference to ensure a tidy installation.
- Drill a pilot hole from the ceiling to the roof.
- Drill with a 20mm hole saw just enough to break the surface of the ceiling.
- Drill from the roof down to get a straight and clean hole. Check the hole is straight by drilling one last time from inside
- Clean the roof of the vehicle to prepare for the installation of the 5G antenna.
- Place the router down (with the sticker intact) to ensure it’s straight. Remove the 3m sticker paper.
- Point the router facing forward by using the grove as your guide. Apply a generous amount of adhesive to the neck of the thread to prevent any water from getting into the hole.
- Drop the cable into the hole.
- Apply moderate pressure to get the 3M tape to stick to the roof.
- Pass the nut through the cables and thread until it reaches the ceiling. Tighten the nut by hand only.
- Step-by-Step Guide for Mounting the Router’s Docking Station
- The SMA cable from the antenna is 0.5 meters long allowing sufficient distance to connect the antenna to the router. Fix the docking station with the 2 small screws.
