START-UP

Before being worn for the first time or after being stopped, a NEOTYPE watch must be manually wound. This ensures its proper functioning and accuracy. To manually wind the watch, unscrew the winding crown completely, then turn it several

times clockwise (15~20 rotations); the other direction is inactive.

The watch will then wind automatically as long as it is worn on the wrist. Carefully screw the crown back against the case to ensure water resistance

OVERVIEW

UNIDIRECTIONAL ROTATING BEZEL

The Neotype LM01 TYPE D allows divers to read their dive time safely thanks to the unidirectional rotating bezel.

Before starting the descent, turn the bezel so that the triangle of the graduation is opposite the minute hand. It indicates the start of the dive and remains visible in the dark thanks to the triangular marker in Super-Lummi Nova® C3. The immersion time is indicated by the minute hand on the scale of the bezel

For safety reasons, the bezel rotates only counterclockwise. Its involuntary rotation would have the only consequence of shortening the dive time.

MAINTENANCE

WATER RESISTANT
All of the Neotype watches are engineered to fonction in professional diving conditions.
The crown and back are screwed down and every model is tested to handle 30ATM of pressure, the equivalent of a 300m/1000ft deep dive.

TEMPERATURE
Large variations in temperature and extreme heat or cold (-10c/+50c) may affect proper fonctionning.

SHOCKS
Shocks on the watch (case, bezel, lugs, glass or back) may have esthetical as well as time keeping impact . Mechanical Neotype watches rely on their balance spring for accurate time keeping; accidental shocks on the watch may modify its balance and impact accuracy.

CORROSION
Chemical products, acids, detergents, solvants, cosmetic products… may deteriorate the watch.

MAGNETISM
Contact with magnets, loudspeakers, magnetic electrical devices, refrigerators… which generate magnetic fields may affect accurate timekeeping.

CLEANING
It is recommended to wash the watch with room temperature soft water following immersion in seawater or chlorine pool water.

SAPPHIRE
All Neotype watches are equipped with Sapphire crystal glass (synthetic corindon). Its hardness (9/10 on the Mohs scale vs 5/10 for glass) will insure superior resistance to scratches and impacts.

PRECISION
The LM01 TYPE D NEOTYPE watch is equiped with a 9039 MIYOTA Automatic movement. It has a 42 hours power reserve and it has an accuracy of-10 to +30 seconds.

MANIPULATION
Never Attempt to open the watch. Do not attempt to unscrew the crown under water or in damp conditions. Any failure to these recommendations would void warranty.
