Gira One is a powerful Smart Home system with easy and fast handling. It can be operated in the usual, reliable and proven way using normal buttons. It can also be controlled using the Gira Smart Home App: remotely, free of charge and securely, from a smartphone and tablet or by using the permanently installed Gira G1 central operating unit. This also serves as a home station for door communication. Air conditioning control

This also saves energy: as soon as the window is opened longer than it would be for normal ventilation, the Smart Home automatically switches to frost protection.
Secure access from afar: to be welcomed home by a pleasant temperature, the heating can be switched on using the Gira Smart Home App before returning from your holiday.

Flexible if changes are needed: your customers can add Sonos speakers on their own using the Gira Smart Home App, allowing them to play their favourite music directly without having to make an appointment to set them up.

Security
A safe feeling while on holiday: access the video stream from IP security cameras thanks to free, secure remote access and check that everything is okay at home while on holiday.
“Everything off” with one press of the central button, all consumers that are not needed are switched off. This is convenient and saves energy at the same time.
Secure when you’re away: a weekly, individual recording of the Smart Home’s daily activities can be replayed as needed to simulate presence.
Panic button: a panic scene can be called up at the touch of a button, lighting up the house brightly and playing loud music. This frightens off uninvited guests.

Door communication
Central display: the Gira G1 central operating unit conveniently and intuitively controls both the Gira door communication and the Gira One system.
No key, no problem: open the front door simply by code or fingerprint.
Control the door intercom while on the move: the Gira DCS mobile app offers great flexibility. The smartphone can be used to talk to visitors outside the house and even to open the door.

For conveniently upgrading KNX TP installations to include wireless KNX RF products. Thanks to its compact design, the Gira KNX RF/TP media coupler can also be easily retrofitted into existing systems.
The media coupler can therefore be connected to just

about any point along the KNX line. As an alternative to a supply with KNX bus voltage, the Gira KNX RF/TP media coupler can also be operated with 24 V DC as a dedicated KNX RF repeater and thereby improve wireless coverage in a KNX RF system. The new segment coupler function significantly

Gira X1

The Gira X1 uses the Gira Project Assistant (GPA) to bring the worlds of Smart Home and the Gira Alarm Connect security system together. The latest update allows the Gira X1, in combination with the Gira S1, to send important information from the Smart Home directly to the Gira Smart Home App by push notification. This ensures the user is always up to date about events in the Smart Home.

What’s more, the update gives users with admin rights more control: This includes individual settings and making additions to scenes. Timers are now clearly displayed in the Gira Smart Home App and can also be customised. Additional users can be created in the user management.

KNX Innovations /

Gira F1 as a KNX bridge.

The new Gira F1 is used as a KNX bridge for connecting two self-contained KNX systems.
The module enables KNX telegrams from the building’s shared weather station to be forwarded to the private KNX system in the apartment, for example. Notifications about upcoming lift maintenance, a visit from the window cleaner etc. can also be forwarded to the apartment, where they are shown on a display.
In doing so, the Gira F1 keeps personal data in the private network secure from unauthorised access

from the building network. KNX communication proceeds from KNX-IP to KNX-TP. This also works bidirectionally, and in accordance with the KNX Secure standard. Any existing group addresses can also be changed in the Gira F1, and be adapted to suit any existing projects.
Among other areas, the Gira F1 is suitable for use in the commercial sector, for example in shopping centres with individual shops, or if selfcontained KNX systems are required to communicate with each other in company buildings that have grown over time.

For easy and convenient lighting and blind control, Gira System 3000 has been expanded to include a manually operated touch top unit in a timeless, contemporary design. The touchsensitive operating surface offers highly sensitive and precise reactions to every tap and swipe of a finger. An LED bar displays the settings for the light intensity or the current position of the blind.

Gira System 3000 App update v1.4

The software update provides additional and optimised functions for advanced blind and lighting control using Bluetooth®. It allows the user to adjust the colour temperature between cold and warm white light according to personal preferences using the Gira System 3000 App. What’s more, release 1.4 makes it

possible to switch on flashing lighting, for example by using an adhesive wireless Bluetooth® wall transmitter. Practical for people in need of assistance in the household to indicate that they need support.

Network-based SIP communication is used to connect up devices in larger door communication systems. The new Gira F1 keeps the building network separate from the private networks in the individual apartments, thereby

New Gira socket outlet generation.

We have continued to develop our range of socket outlet types, and have added a safety feature: the support ring is now earthed in combination with the mounting claws and claw screws and is thereby integrated into the protective measure. Just a few turns of the claw screws is all it takes to install the new socket outlets more easily

and more quickly than ever before. Expanding claws in the housing facilitate insertion. The new generation of socket outlets encompasses five types of socket outlet for flushmounted, surfacemounted and duct installation. Inserts and covers from the new and previous generation of socket outlets can be combined as required.
