Yes these will fit an iPhone 5. Keep in mind these are only for listening and do not have a microphone to speak into. So they can be used to watch videos but not to have phone conversations

Has anyone else found that they can hear everything when their kids are using these? I still hear the movie and I’m sitting across the room.

No, I don’t hear anything when the kids have their headphones on and they sit basically in my lap or super close to me all the time. The connector on this headphone is the universal 3.5mm and does NOT come with a lightning adapter to use with the iPhone. Please check which iPhone model you have. If your iPhone still has the 3.5mm universal earphone port then this is compatible. If your iPhone only has the lightning port, you must supply your own lightning to 3.5mm adapter to use with this headphone.

Are they good with the fire 7 tablet for kids from Amazon?

Yes the work with the fire 7 tablet. The connector is a 3.5mm audio jack and will fit all devices that have this type of connector.

Even though these headphones do not have a built-in mic, it will still work with iPads, tablets, chromebooks, computers and etc. While the headphones are plugged in, you can speak into the device’s mic and the receiving end can hear you.

Yes it will. The connector is a 3.5mm audio jack and will fit all devices that has this audio port.
