Product Information

The product is a fire pit manufactured by Garth Australia Pty
Ltd. It consists of three main parts:

  1. Fire pit top ring
  2. Fire bowl
  3. Fire pit base
  • The product is covered by a limited warranty for a period of up to 12 months from the date of purchase. The warranty excludes surface rust and damage caused by abuse or neglect.
  • The warranty is provided by Garth Australia Pty Ltd., located at Suite 14, 981 North Road, Murrumbeena, VIC 3163, Australia. For warranty purposes, the product number BUN-542-CA.22 should be entered at www.garthsupport.com or by calling 1800 427 841.
  • Installations must comply with applicable Gas, Electrical, and Building standards as specified by local codes for the state or region.

FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR EVEN DEATH.

SAFTY INSTRUCTIONS

  • For OUTDOOR USE ONLY! Do NOT use under awnings,canopies,parasols or the like.
  • Do NOT use the fire pit on boats or any kind of vehicles.
  • Use the fire pit on a level, non-combustion surface at safe distance from buildings,trees and other flammable materials.
  • Do NOT use on wooden or composite decks. Always follow local fire rules and regulations.
  • Do NOT use in windy conditions.
  • Do NOT wear flammable clothing.
  • Do NOT move the fire pit when in use. Wait until all ashes and coals are completely extinguished and all surfaces are completely cool.
  • Do NOT let persons under the age of 18 use the fire pit alone.
  • Do NOT leave fire pit unattended while in use.
  • Do NOT touch the fire pit while in use. Fire pit gets very hot during use. Keep children, animals and others who needs supervision at a safe distance from the fire pit.
  • Do NOT use alcohol,kerosene,gasoline,diesel fuel or any other flammable liquids to light or relight.
  • Let the fire pit completely cool before emptying. Never empty used charcoal/briquettes directly onto the ground.
  • When use the fire pit,exercise the same precautions you would with any open flame.
  • Do NOT modify the fire pit.
  • Do NOT use water to extinguish the fire as this may damage the fire box.

STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE

  • Correct cleaning and storage can extend lifetime and enhance the appearance.
  • Clean the fire pit every 2-3 burns, and clean the fire pit when it is completely cool.
  • Wipe any residue with a dry cloth if needed.
  • Keep the fire pit free of water and snow, which can cause rust and discolouring.
  • Cover the fire pit when cool and not in use, and keep in a dry place when not use
  • All barrels are made of SUS304 and the bottom grate is made of thicker SUS304 for better deformation resistance, both material is resistant to rust, but is NOT rustproof. Surface rust can occur, especially in coastal areas.
  • The heat from the fire will create a patina finish as the steel is heated,which is normal, and will not affect use.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER

  • Damages caused by improper assembly or handling, misuse and/or abuse.
  • Damages caused by lack of storage away from the elements.
  • Failure to comply with use instructions.
  • Non-residential use of Fire Pits, such as commercial use.
  • Damage cause by acts of God or other natural forces.
  • Use of parts and accessories other than those designed for Fire Pits.
  • Modifying your Fire Pit will VOID its warranty.
  • Normal wear and tear, rust or cosmetic damage. Stainless steel that gets as hot as your fire pit will develop a natural iron oxide patina.

WARRANTY

YOUR FIREPIT IS COVERED AGAINST DEFECTS FOR A PERIOD UP TO 12 MONTHS FROM DATE OF PURCHASE. THIS WARRANTY EXCLUDES SURFACE RUST AND DAMAGE CAUSED BY ABUSE OR NEGLECT. PLEASE READ ALL CONDITIONS OF THE WARRANTY

This warranty is provided in addition to other rights and remedies you may have under Australian Consumer Law or the relevant. Consumer Laws in the country of purchase: You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Any claim under this warranty must be made within 12 (twelve) months of the date of purchase of the product to Garth Australia. Proof of purchase must be presented.

CONDITIONS OF THE WARRANTY

  • The product is warranted for a period of 12 months from date of purchase.
  • Proof of purchase must be supplied when applying for warranty.
  • The operating manual must be retained in a safe place.
  • The appliance must be operated and maintained in accordance with the instructions supplied in the operating manual.
  • Any repair does not extend the warranty period.
  • Any parts other than original parts will void this warranty.

INSTALLATION CONDITIONS

  • All installations must conform to the applicable Gas, Electrical and Building standards as laid down by the local codes for state or region.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED IN THE WARRANTY

  • Removal or re-installation costs. This warranty does not cover costs for transit, nor in home service.
  • Lack of maintenance, abuse, neglect, misuse, accidental or improper assembly of this appliance.
  • Scratches, dents, corrosion or discoloration caused by heat, abrasive chemical cleaners or chipping of porcelain enamel parts.
  • Cleaning and wear and tear – service calls of this nature are chargeable.
  • Corrosion or damage caused by exposure to the elements such as insects, weather, hail or grease and fat fires.
  • Commercial use of this appliance.
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications during the warranty period.
  • Glass breakage due to misuse or overheating.
  • Cost of returning goods for repair or replacement.
