Operating instructions
Please observe the notes and warnings in the operating instructions. You can
find the operating instructions in your language on the Internet at:

In the operating instructions you will find detailed instructions, support and
conformity information as well as information on data protection.
Set up
Observe the instructions for mounting the stand in the operating manual.
Connect
Step 1: Connect the TV to the power supply.
Step 2: Establish the antenna connection to the desired receive path.
The antenna connection for cable TV, SAT and DVB-T2 is located on the back of
the device, on the left as seen from the front. 
Note on DVB-T
Whether and how many stations can be received depends on the device’s location
and the availability of DVB-T stations in that region. DVB-T radio stations
are only available in very few regions.
Please note that when using DVB-T, a new station scan should be performed each
time you move to a larger location. Broadcast stations and their broadcast
frequency vary from region to region.
Note on cable TV reception
Via cable, programs can be received analog or digital (DVB-C). If possible,
you should prefer the digital reception path. More channels with better
picture quality are available.
Encrypted channels
You can also receive encrypted channels via satellite, DVB-T or DVB-C. To do
this, you need a CAM module and, depending on the provider, possibly also a
smartcard from your service provider. Which channels can be used additionally
depends on your contract.
Step 3:
If desired, insert a CAM module and a smart card from your TV service
provider into the CI+ slot. 
Note
The module and smart card are not included in the scope of delivery.
Activation of the card may take a few minutes when it is used for the first
time.
The device checks the module each time it is switched on.
Follow the operating instructions for the CI+ module and smartcard.
Only CI+ modules and cards can be used. Unfortunately, other models are not
supported.
Notes on CI+
Please note that some functions may be restricted on some channels.
These restrictions are determined by the channel. The manufacturer is not
responsible for them.
Switch on
Step 1: Insert the batteries into the remote control according to their
polarity.
Step 2: Press the red “Power” button on the top left of your remote
control to turn it on.
Step 3: The device starts and the first installation wizard is displayed.

Set up
Step 1: Press the OK button to start the wizard. Select the desired menu
language using the ▼/▲ buttons and press the ► button to move to the
next option.
Step 2: Confirm the data processing information by highlighting ”
Accept”, pressing the OK button and then proceeding with the ► button.
Step 3: In the same way, take the country setting…
Step 4: …and the setting for the time zone before.
Step 5: “Home mode” to adjust the illumination level is recommended for
private use.
Step 6: Now make the network settings by first selecting the connection
type and, in the case of WLAN, marking your network with OK and entering the
connection data. Press OK again to enter the password, highlight Connect and
press ► OK again to continue the setup.
Step 7: In the next step, you will have the opportunity to set up Netflix
if you already have a user account.
Attention!
If Netflix is configured at this point, there will be no channel search! Skip
the setup of Netflix first to set up the TV reception afterwards.
Step 8:
If you have set up Netflix, exit Netflix to DVB-T/-C mode.
Since no channel search has been performed, you must now first switch to the
desired reception mode and then perform a channel search via the menu.
Step 9: If you have skipped Netflix, you can now select the reception
type as described above.
Step 10: For satellite, you can alternatively use a predefined channel
list for the ASTRA 19.2°East satellite. Exit the setup at this point.
Step 11: Wait until the station scan is finished and the first station is
displayed.
