Description and assembly

A Motor head
B On/Off Switch
C Drain hose
D Dirt bag
F Cap
G Locking clip motor head
H Connection nozzle suction hose
I Container
L Suction hose
M Intake manifolds 4 pieces
O Suction nozzle
Q Grip
R Filter sponge
Before each use, mount the filter sponge R over the float cage to prevent water or dust from entering the engine head A. Check the presence of the filter sponge before each reuse. Replace any defective filter sponge immediately. Allow the filter sponge to dry before using again.
Batteries and charger are not included and are sold separately. Two batteries from the “Power XChange” family with the same capacity are required to operate this device. The best results in terms of endurance and suction power can always be achieved when batteries with the same capacity from 3.0 Ah and larger are used.
Only use batteries with the same level, never combine full and half-full batteries. Always charge both batteries at the same time. The battery with a weaker state of charge determines the runtime of the device. Both batteries must always be fully charged before operation. Close the battery cover by closing the lid and make sure it clicks into place.
Pull out the battery before all maintenance and cleaning.
Charge batteries only in chargers recommended by the manufacturer. In battery- powered devices, always use only the batteries provided for this purpose.
Keep unused batteries away from paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other small metal objects that could cause contacts to bypass. Store unused batteries cool (preferably 15°C) and at least 40% charged to counteract deep discharge.
Mounting the battery: Fold up the battery cover. Then plug the two batteries into the recordings. Manual operation (Fig. B Switch position I): Device switches on immediately. It can be vacuumed until, for example, in wet operation the tank is full. The filling  time of the tank depends on the respective operating conditions and can vary over time. When the tank is full, a float switch in the engine head stops the suction.
At the same time, the running noise of the engine changes due to the bypass operation that has now occurred. To empty, the device must now be switched off. Emptying must be done manually by pouring out the tank. When drain hose C is mounted, the container empties automatically due to the dynamic pressure in the tank. Make sure that the tank is completely emptied before putting the device back into operation.
Use as pond sludge vacuum cleaner / pool vacuum cleaner

  • Keep the device at a sufficient safe distance from the pond or pool and convince yourself of the firm stand of the device.
  • Mount plastic pipes M of the desired length with the suction nozzle O to the handle of the suction hose Q and plug the suction hose L into the nozzle H of tank I.
  • Mount the drain hose C on the lower connection nozzle of tank I, so that it has a slope towards the end so that the tank can empty completely.
  • Do not operate a wet device or use the vacuum cleaner when it rains at the pond or pool.
  • Automatic mode (Fig. B Switch position II): For safety reasons and in order to be able to take the correct suction position, the device only switches on with a time delay of up to 10 seconds in automatic mode. After automatically switching on, the device then sucks in for a specified time and also switches off automatically after a specified time for emptying. This work cycle is then repeated until the device is switched off by means of switch B. The intake and emptying times are fixed via an automatic program in the engine head and cannot be changed. Program times in automatic mode: switch-on delay approx. 10 seconds, suction time approx. 30 seconds, emptying time approx. 30 seconds, suction time approx. 30 seconds, emptying time approx . 30 seconds…. The times are independent of the filling or emptying state of the container which is subject to the respective conditions of use and cannot be changed. Never operate the device unattended in automatic mode.

Use as wet and dry vacuum cleaner (only in manual operation Fig. B switch position I)

  • For wet and dry suction operation, the tank is closed by means of a closure cover on the lower connection nozzle instead of the drain hose.
  • Automatic operation not permitted (Fig. B Switch position II): For safety reasons, the device should not be used in automatic mode when used as a wet and dry vacuum cleaner, i.e. in operation with a closure lid.

Troubleshooting

Possible malfunction Cause Remedy
Vacuum cleaner does not vacuum in pond sludge vacuum cleaner operation.
Rubber flap in drain hose © not present/closed. Check the rubber flap at the

be-ginning of the drain hose ©, if necessary. Remove contamination.
Suction power weak, does not suck (wet/dry operation and pond
sludge vacuum cleaner operation)| Hose nozzle or handle on suction hose © loosely.| Screw the connection nozzle or
handle flush onto suction hose ®.
Suction power weak, does not suck (wet/dry operation and pond
sludge vacuum cleaner operation)| Motor head not closed.| Place the motor head flush, close the locking clips.
Suction power weak, does not suck (wet and dry operation)| Cap 0 for wet and dry operation not mounted.| Fitting cap O.
Vacuum cleaner does not empty| Rubber flap in drain hose © does not close properly (dirty / blocked).| Remove dirt / contamination, if necessary. Disassemble drain hose © and reattach it.
Vacuum cleaner does not empty completely in automatic mode| Depending on individual operating conditions and suction height| Install drain hose with slope. In automatic mode, switch off the vacuum cleaner briefly if necessary and empty it manually. Then turn it back on.
Water leaks out of engine head (wet operation)| Filter sponge 8 via float cage in engine head not mounted or fallen off| Mount filter sponge 8 over sponge cage . After prolonged operation, if necessary. Filter sponge dry beforehand.
Smoke generation from engine head (dry operation)| Filter sponge 8 via float cage in the engine head not mounted or fallen off, thereby dust suction into the engine area.| Mount filter sponge ® over float cage.
