MADERA LBWP20 Gasoline Water Pump
We would like to thank you for choosing our products. This tool wasn’t designed for professional use. II has a 36 months warranty which doesn’t include damage caused by misuse, exhaustive use or parts and acessories wear out. Do not overload the tool and do not use it continuously over20 minutes.
READ CAREFULLY THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE PRODUCT.

MAIN TECHNICAL PARAMETER
PREPARATION FOR STARTING
- Check engine oil:
- Open cover and clean engine oil ruler
- Inset engine oil ruler into oil mouth, and don’t revolve engine oil ruler
- Pour oil if oil level is below engine oil ruler; Pour oil until it reaches above engine oil
- Fix engine oil plug ruler.
- Check fuel; pour oil if oil level is low:
- Uncover the fuel filler cap.
- Check oil level; pour oil if oil level is low.
- Fill petrol until it reaches the base of the petrol inlet filter in the tank.
- Fix oil cover.
- Check air-filter
- Connect hose
- Fill priming water
OPERATION
CAUTIONS
- The gasoline and the lubricating oil of specified grades are to be used. They should completely precipitate and filtered before use. Any utensils used herein should be kept clean. The lubricating oil must be periodically changed.
- Frequently check the bolts mounting and connecting the engine and the bolts in the engine, if loose, tighten them.
- Clean the air filters regularly, change the air filter cartridge if necessary. Never run the engine without the air filters. Rapid engine wear will result.
- It is an air-cooling gasoline engine, to keep the engine in best cooling condition clean the radiating gills, air guiding cover and fan if there is any dust.
- The operator should know the principle and the framework of the engine, maintenance the engine regularly, and eliminate defects in time.
- Don’t touch parts of high temperature such as the silencer, when the engine in use. Or you may be scalded.
- Always make a pre-operation inspection before you start the engine. You may prevent accident or equipment damage.
- To prevent fire hazards and to provide adequate ventilation, keep the engine at least1 meter (3 feet) away from buildings and other equipment during operation. Do not place flammable objects close to the engine while it is running.
- Children and pets must be kept away from the area of operation due to a possibility of burns from hot engine components or injury from any equipment the engine may be used to operate.
- Know how to stop the engine quickly, and understand the operation of all controls. Never permit anyone to operate the engine without proper instructions.
- Refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine stopped. Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive under certain conditions.
- Do not overfill the fuel tank. There should be no fuel in the filler neck. Make sure that the filler cap is closed securely.
- If any fuel is spilled, clean it up completely and allow petroleum vapours to dissipate before starting the engine.
- Do not smoke or allow flames or sparks where the engine is refuelled or where gasoline is stored.
- Exhaust gas contains poisonous carbon monoxide. Avoid inhalation of exhaust gases. Never run the engine in a closed room or confined area.
- Place the engine on a stable surface. Do not tilt the engine more than 20 form horizontal. Operating at excessive angles may result in fuel spillage.
MAINTENANCE
Regular service period performed at every indicated month or operating hour interval, whichever comes first.
- Engine oil changing
- Drain the oil while the engine is still warm to assure rapid and complete draining.
- Unscrew the sump plug to drain the oil.
- Install the drain plug, and tighten it securely.
- Refill with recommended oil and check the oil level with the dipstick.
- Spark plug cleaning
- Remove the pipe from the candle.
- Remove spark plug.
- Clean up the carbon.
- Measure the gap of spark plug (0.7-0.8mm).
- Place the candle and the pipe.
- Clean air-filter
- Remove the outer cover of the air filter and clean the air filter element.
- Clean the filter with gasoline: dip in the oil, wring oil out then put back the air filter back.
- Pat the centre of filter several times.
- Fix the air-filter.
- Fuel-Filter cleaning
- Close the fuel tap and remove the tap filter.
- •Remove the filter fuel-filter.
•Use air gun to blow wind adversely to the arrow.
b) Close the fuel tap and remove the tap filter.
c) Install new rubber spacer and cup of fuel-filter.
TROUBLES AND REMEDIES
- Engine does not start.
- Check the fuel.
- Check the engine switch.
- Check the spark plug.
- If the engine still does not start, check the following:
- If the fuel cock is clogging;
- If the air filter is clogging; Or consult with the manufacturer.
- Not pump up
- Check priming water
- Check strainer for clogging
- Check for air suction
- Check hose clamps
- Check Hose for damage
Or consult with the manufacturer.
