WR12K Digital Personal Scale Washdown

Thankyou
for purchasing the My Weigh® WR12K™ water resistant digita scale. Please read all operating nstructions carefullybefore use. Thiselectronicscale isa precision nstrument. With normeal care and proper treatment, it will provide years ofreiable service. For more nformation please visit www.myweigh.com
Never load the scale with more than the maximum capacty. Although the WR12K™ s designed to be extremely durable with extra overload protection buil into the case, verloading will permanently damage ! Avoid any exposure to extreme heat or cld, your scale works better when operated at normal room temperature. Keep your scale in a dlean environment. Dust, dirt, maisture, vibration,ai currents and/or aclose proximity to other elecronic equipment can al cause an adverse effect on the rliabilty and accuracy of yourscale. Handle with cae. Gently applyal items to be weighed onto tray top. Avoid shaking, dropping or othervise shocking the scale. Scales are delcate instruments and unlike celularphones, scales have delcate sensors that determine how much an tem weighs. I you drop o shock your scae, these sensors“feel” the shock and are sometimes destroyed.
This happens with all digta scales. We design ourscales to be as resistant toshock or drops as possble, however there i no way fo us to protect 100% against load cellorsensor damage.
Failure to follow these instructions will void your warranty.
Always allow the sale to acclimate to normal oo temperature for at least one hour before use. Give your scale sufficent warm up time. Usually 30-60 seconds before caibration o give th internal components a chance tostabilz.

PRECAUTIONS BEFORE USING THE BALANCE

  1.  Matter charged with static electrcity can affect accuracy. Discharge all satic electricty. For example, one method s to use Static-Guard spray, and spray it on both sides of the weighing platform.
  2. The balance must be in an exact horizontal position in order to achieve accurate measurement results. In order to bring the balance into a horizontal position, the adjustable feet are turned either clockwise or counter-clockwise until the air bubble on the front panel isin the center of the marked circle.
  3.  Please use an independent power outlet to avoid interference from other electrical appliances.
  4. Do not put any objects on the platform before powering on.
  5. When possible please allow the scale to warm up for several minutes before operation.
  6. Items should always be placed on the center of the platform when being weighed.
  7. For optimum accuracy, recalibrate before each use.

PPOWER SUPPLY

TheWR12K™is powered by DC6V rechargeable battery or directly by 9.0V power adapter.

NOTE: When all weight s removed from the weighing tray, the tared value of a container vill be displayed as a negative number. Press ( ] againtoreturn the scale to zero.

CALIBRATION

When to calibrate – calibration is recommended for best results.
Calibration may be required when the scale s first set up for use, orif the scale is moved to a different altitude or new location. This is necessary because the weight of a mass in one location is not necessarily the same in another location. Also, with time and use,
‘mechanical deviations can occur.

Howto calibrate

*’you must have acalbration weight between 8kg and12Kq in rder to perform calibration**

  1. Tur the scale on. When the display shows “000000″ pres: in this order. The display wil show “CAL”
  2. Next press and the displaytoshow 0″ calibration weight on the tray. Now you must input the correct
