MeTra 99-6515 Single DIN Dash Kit
KIT FEATURES

TOOLS REQUIRED
- Panel removal tool
- Phillips screwdriver
- 10mm socket wrench
- Radio removal keys (Metra part number 86-5618)
CAUTION! All accessories, switches, climate controls panels, and especially air bag indicator lights must be connected before cycling the ignition. Also, do not remove the factory radio with the key in the on position, or while the vehicle is running.
DASH DISASSEMBLY
- Remove the covers from the (4) “radio removal tool holes” in the factory radio. (Figure A)
- Using Metra’s 86-5618 radio removal tools, pull the factory radio from the dash. (Figure B)
- Remove (1) 10mm bolt from the center rear of the metal radio support and (2) Phillips screws from both sides of the support then remove it from the sub dash. (Figure C) Continue to Kit Preparation
KIT PREPARATION
- Trim the area at the bottom of the sub dash opening to allow for clearance of the radio housing. (Figure A)
- Secure the radio housing to the sub dash with the factory hardware. (Figure B)
KIT ASSEMBLY
DIN radio provision with pocket
- Remove the metal DIN sleeve from the aftermarket radio.
- Slide the sleeve into the radio housing and secure by bending the metal locking tabs down. (Figure A)
- Locate the factory wiring harness and antenna connector in the dash and complete all necessary connections to the radio. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter from Metra and/or AXXESS. Test the radio for proper operation.
- Slide the radio back into the sleeve until it clicks in. (Figure B)
ISO DIN radio provision with pocket
- Remove the metal DIN sleeve and trim ring from the aftermarket radio.
- Secure the ISO brackets to the radio with the screws supplied with the radio. (Figure A)
- Locate the factory wiring harness and antenna connector in the dash and complete all necessary connections to the radio. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter from Metra and/or AXXESS. Test the radio for proper operation.
- Slide the radio into the radio opening until the side clips engage. (Figure B)
- Snap the ISO trim panel into the radio housing. (Figure C)
