BATTERY REPLACEMENT
The batteries included in the unit are for in-store demonstration. Before playing, an adult must install fresh alkaline batteries (not included) in the unit. Here’s how:
- Turn the music player over and locate the battery door (Fig. 1).
- Using a Phillips screwdriver (not included), remove the screw and battery compartment cover.
- Install two (2) 1.5V AAA (LR03) alkaline batteries (not included) making sure the (+) and (-) ends face the proper direction as indicated on the battery door and the inside of the battery compartment.
- Replace the compartment cover and securely tighten the screw to ensure the compartment is closed.
WARNING:
- This toy produces flashes that may be a trigger for individuals with photosensitive epilepsy.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- This toy can be cleaned with a damp (not wet) cloth. Please ensure that no moisture enters the electronics or battery compartment.
BATTERY SAFETY INFORMATION
- Use only size “AAA” (LR03) alkaline batteries (2 required).
- Insert batteries with the correct polarity (+ and –).
- Charging of rechargeable batteries should only be done under adult supervision.
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries.
- Always remove exhausted or dead batteries from the product.
- Dispose of dead batteries properly: do not burn or bury them.
- Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
- Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
- Remove batteries before placing the unit into storage for a prolonged period of time.
QUICK START
- Move the switch from the TRY ME [ X ] position (Fig. 2) to the Low Volume [ ] or High Volume [ ] positions.
- Always turn the playset OFF [ ] to conserve battery power.
- Language Select: To switch between English and French languages, insert a pointed object into the small hole on the back of the music player (Fig. 3). Hold in place for 2 seconds until you hear “English” or “Français” to indicate which language mode has been activated.
WAYS TO PLAY:
A. PLAYING MUSIC:
Push the cassette down to play music and activate a cool rainbow light show
(Fig. 4). Push it again to release the cassette. The cassette will pop up, but
will remain in the music player (Fig.5). Repeat these steps to hear another
song!
Get down and get funky when the music plays!
B. LEARNING ABOUT COLORS:
Press one of the three primary color buttons to hear callouts, phrases, and
songs; along with light up effects (Fig. 6)!
Press any two primary color buttons together to ‘remix’ the colors and learn
which secondary color is revealed (Fig. 7)!
C. DISCOVER NUMBERS:
Move the number slider up and down to playback lots of interactive prompts and questions about numbers and counting.
D. PRETEND PLAY:
- Push the playback control buttons on the left side of the music player (Fig. 9), or slide the musical notes on the right side up and down (Fig. 10), for tactile play.
NOTE: Playback control buttons, headphones, and musical notes slider are for pretend play only and do not activate any lights or sounds.
Clip the music player to your pants while wearing the headphones to rock out and dance on thego!
