Read the instruction manual and the separately enclosed safety instructions very carefully before using this appliance. Unpacking the Appliance

  1. Remove the appliance from its packaging.
  2. Remove all packaging material, such as foils, filling material, cable ties and cardboard packaging.
  3. Check the appliance for possible transport damage to avoid hazards. Do not operate a damaged appliance.
    Return it to the dealer immediately.

Warnings for the Use of the Appliance

WARNING of Electrical Shock!

  • Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.
  • When the appliance is used in a bathroom, always unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the appliance is switched off.
  • The nozzle becomes hot during operation! Danger of burns!
  • Make sure that the intake grille remains free of lint or hair. Fire hazard!

Putting Into Operation

  1. Unwind the mains cable completely.

  2. Put on a nozzle.
    – If you want to dry individual sections of hair, attach the styling nozzle. This concentrates the air flow.
    – With the diffuser you can dry curly hair ideally without losing volume.

  3. To change the attachment, pull it off and put on the new attachment so that it clicks into place.

Electrical Connection

  1. Before inserting the mains plug into the socket, check that the mains voltage you intend to use matches that of the appliance. You will find the information on the type plate.
  2. Connect the mains cable to a properly installed protective contact socket.

Operation

  1. Select a blower level on the handle (Switch ):
    Position 0 : Off
    Position 1 : Gentle air flow
    Position 2 : Strong air flow

  2. Set the desired heating level on the handle (Switch ):
    Position 1 : Low temperature
    Position 2 : Moderate temperature for gentle drying and shaping
    Position 3 : High temperature for quick drying

COOL (Cold Air)
Interrupt the heating process with this button.
Hold the button in this position according to the desired interval length. When the button is released, it automatically returns to its original position.
Ionisation function –
Reduction of electrically charged hair
In addition, the appliance is equipped with an ionizer that emits negative ions with the outflowing air when it is switched on. This process supports the gentle drying of the hair, at the same time it promotes the improvement of the hair structure, the attainment of more volume, a silky shine and additionally reduces the static charge of the hair.
This process is particularly gentle on damaged hair.

  1. Slide the switch ( ) to position I, to switch on the function. The control lamp lights up green.
  2. To switch off the function, set the switch to 0.

Switching Off

  1. After use, slide the right-hand switch ( ) to position 0.
  2. Then pull the mains plug out of the socket.

Storage

  • Let the appliance cool down before putting it away!
  • Hang the appliance on the suspension eye.

Mains Cable

  • Wind the mains cable loosely.
  • Do not tie it tightly around the appliance, this can cause the cable to break in the long run.
  • Check the mains cable regularly for damage.

Cleaning

WARNING:

  • Always unplug the appliance from the mains before cleaning.
  • Never immerse the appliance in water for cleaning. It could cause an electric shock or fire.

CAUTION:

  • Do not use a wire brush or other abrasive objects.
  • Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents.
    Clean the housing with a soft, dry cloth without any additives.

Air Intake Grille
Clean the grille on the air intake side of the hair dryer regularly to avoid excess temperatures caused by heat build-up.

  1. Turn the air intake grille counterclockwise and remove it.
  2. Remove any impurities that are present.
  3. If necessary, use a fine brush.
  4. Turn the grille clockwise again and tighten it.
