STERNGLAS Automatic Naos Watch
Product Information
The Naos Automatik is a timepiece that requires manual winding for initial setup. It features a crown with three positions for different functions, including winding, setting the time, and setting the date.
Product Usage Instructions
Winding the Timepiece:
To start using your Naos Automatik, you need to wind it up. Follow these steps:
- Locate the crown on the side of the timepiece.
- With the crown in position 1, wind it clockwise about 15 times. You may hear a slight whirring sound, indicating that the movement has started working.
Setting the Time
Once you have wound up your timepiece, you can set the correct time. Follow these steps:
- Pull the crown to position 3.
- Turn the crown until the hands are in the correct position.
Setting the Date
If your timepiece has a date display, you can set the date using the
following steps:
- Push the crown in by one position to reach position 2.
- Turn the crown counterclockwise until the correct date is displayed.
- Push the crown back to the starting position (position 1).
Note: If your date changes at noon instead of midnight, it is because the movement does not differentiate between noon and midnight. In such cases, simply wind your timepiece forward by 12 hours to adjust the date correctly.
How to setup your timepiece
- Before you can start, you need to wind up your timepiece. To do so, wind the crown (in position 1) clockwise about 15 times. If you notice a slight whirring sound, the movement starts working.
- Now you are ready to set the time. To do so, pull the crown to position 3 and turn until the hands are in the correct position.
- To set the date, push the crown in by one position so that it is in position 2. Turn the crown counterclockwise until the correct date is displayed. Now you can push the crown back to the starting position (position 1).
Note: Your date changes at noon? This is because the movement does not „know” if it is noon or midnight. If so, simply wind your timepiece forward by 12 hours.
