USER MANUAL
What’s in the Box
If any part of your product is damaged or missing, do not use it.
Contact authorized Shokz dealer or Shokz customer service.
*Please note that the packaging envelope may vary depending on the sales region.
How to Wear
Check your fit
Put on the glasses. Move your head up and down to check whether you’re using
the best nose pad size.
If the lens sits too low on your face or too close to your face, try the
thicker nose pad provided in the box.
When riding a bike, wear the glasses over your helmet strap.
Change the nose pad
1. Distinguish the rubber part of the nose pad from the hard part, and only remove the rubber part. If you want to remove the entire nose pad, refer to page 26: How to switch lenses.
2. Firmly hold the bottom of the rubber nose pad, pull it down and away from the glasses first, then push it up until it is completely separated from the glasses.

3. Align the bottom of the replacement nose pad hole with the bottom of the nose pad arm. Notice that the striped side of the nose pad should be facing inward.
4. Push the nose pad up and then in towards the glasses until you feel it
click into place.
5. Check your fit again.
On/Off
Power on
Power on :
Press and hold the volume button and the multifunction button at the same time
until the LED indicator flashes blue.
- Audrey will say : “Welcome to Shokz.”
- When the RoadWave is powered on for the first time, it directly enters the pairing mode, and the LED Indicator flashes red and blue alternately.
Power off
Power off :
Press and hold the volume button and the multifunction button at the same time
until the LED indicator flashes red. *Audrey will say : “Power off.”
Auto-off :
If the RoadWave is not connected to any device for 5 minutes, it will turn off
automatically.
*Audrey will say : “Power off.”
Bluetooth Connections
Connect a mobile device
1. Start with Shokz RoadWave turned off.
2. Press and hold the volume button and the multifunction button at the same
time until the LED indicator flashes, will be red and blue alternately. The
RoadWave is in the pairing mode.
3. Open your device’s Bluetooth settings and select ” RoadWave by Shokz “.
*You will hear a tone when the connection has been established.
Reconnect a mobile device
Reconnect a mobile device
When powered on, the glasses try to connect with the most recently connected device. The device must be within the connectable range and powered on.

You will hear a tone when the connection has been established.
- When the glasses and the device are disconnected due to falling out of range, if you return to the connectable range with in 2 minutes, the glasses will be automatically connected to the device.
*You will hear a tone when the connection has been established.
Clear the device list
Clear the device list
- You can store up to eight devices in the glasses’ device list. You can connect and play audio from only one device at a time.
- If you need to clear the device list, while RoadWave is in charging state, press and hold the volume button and the multifunction button at the same time until the LED indicator flashes twice, will be blue.

Operate volume controls while audio is playing.
Switch languages
1. Start with your RoadWave powered off.
2. Press and hold the volume button and the multifunction button at the same
time to enter the Bluetooth pairing state (LED indicator flashes red and blue
alternately).
3. Double-click the multifunction button, the switching is completed when you
hear the corresponding language.
- Your glasses have two built-in languages: English, Chinese.
Battery
Charge the glasses
*Keep the charging ports dry before connecting to the charger.If the charging ports are wet, please wipe them with a soft dry cloth.
1. Attach charging cable’s magnetic connectors to the charging ports on each temples, and connect the charging cable to a USB port.
*The two sides of the charging cable are different. Attach the side marked with “L” to the left temple, and the side marked with “R” to the right temple.

2. The LED indicator will turn red during the charging process and the
glasses will automatically turn off.
3. The LED indicator will turn from red to blue when charging is complete.
Check Battery Status
How to check battery status :
Click the volume button once while music is not playing, Audrey will tell the battery status if it’s powered on:
- “Battery high/Battery medium/Battery low/Charge me”
Low battery notifications
When the glasses are at low battery (less than 5%), there will be a “charge me” voice prompt and the red light will flash intermittently. Use the provided magnetic charging cable for charging.
How to Switch Lenses
1. Press each button located on the inner side of each arm to release the arm from the lens.
2. Squeeze the hard parts of the nose pad together and pull down to release the nose pad from the lens.

3. Align the replacement lens to the temples and the nose pad and push the lens into the grooves until you hear a snap. Confirm the glass is securely locked in.
Care and Maintenance
Clean the glasses

the frame with the cloth bag provided. Do not use paper tissues or cloths containing fibers derived from wood. Do not use dirty or abrasive cloths.
CAUTIONS:
- Before cleaning and maintenance, turn off the power of the product and disconnect all connections and cables from other equipment.
- Do not rinse your glasses directly with water or use ultrasonic cleaning.
- Do not allow liquids to spill into any openings of the glasses.
- Do not clean your glasses with anything sharp or abrasive. To avoid glasses damage, deformation, and discoloration, do not use abrasive cleaners or sprays, high-concentration cleaners, chemical cleaning fluid, alcohol, or acetone solvent to clean your glasses.

Water resistance
This product was tested under controlled laboratory conditions, and has a rating of IPX4 under IEC standard 60529. Sweat and water resistance are not permanent conditions and resistance might decrease as a result of normal wear.
CAUTIONS :
- Do not use this product near water.
- Do not submerge or expose the products for extended period to water, or wear while participating in water sports, e.g., swimming, waterskiing, surfing, etc.If this product and its accessories are accidentally exposed to water, please wipe it as soon as possible and place it in a ventilated and cool place for drying.
- Do not use or charge the product again until it is completely dry.
- The glasses case is not water-resistant.
Storage and Maintenance
- Keep the product in the cloth bag or case provided during transport and periods when not in use.
- Keep in a dry place at a temperature between -10°C and 35°C.
- Keep the product away from heat sources, direct sunlight, combustible gas or other liquids.
- Keeping the charging port dry before connecting to the charger will reduce the risk of damage. Do not charge right after exercising, in case there’s sweat inside the charging port, which could lead to circuit burning while charging.
- Make sure to power off the glasses when not in use. Fold the glasses and place them in the provided case.
- Before storing the glasses for a long period, make sure the battery is fully charged, and charge the glasses before using again.

Serial number locations
The serial number can be found at the barcode of the packing box and on the
warranty card.
The serial number is also printed on the hinge of the left temple.

Regulatory and Legal Information
Hearing Loss
Listening with this product at high volume may affect your hearing and audio
may be distorted. Please avoid using this product at a high volume for long
periods of time.
Be Aware of Your Surroundings
- Please note that in some countries or regions, it may be illegal to use this product while operating any type of vehicle. Please check and comply with the traffic rules or relevant laws and regulations in your area or consult your local regulatory authority.
- Please use this product properly and carefully when driving, riding or engaging in any activity that requires full concentration, ensuring that the volume is kept within the appropriate range.
- Please make sure you can hear your surroundings while operating any type of vehicle, especially alarms or warning signs.
Choking Hazard
Keep the glasses and the accessories away from children and pets. If
accidental ingestion happens, seek immediate medical attention. When not in
use, store the glasses in the case, and store away from children and pets.
Battery Safety
To avoid the risk of explosion, fire, or leakage from toxic chemicals, please do not disassemble the product or replace, deform, or mutilate the battery.
- Do not immerse or expose the battery to water or other liquids, to sunlight, fire or other excessive heat, extremely low air pressure, or to explosions or other hazardous environments.
- Please properly dispose of the batteries according to local regulations. Batteries must not be disposed of as household waste. Improper disposal of batteries may cause an explosion.
Magnetic Material
- This product contains magnetic material. Consult your physician on whether this might affect your implantable medical device.
- When using this device, keep it at least 15 cm away from medical devices or personal medical equipment (e.g. pacemakers, cochlear implants, hearing aids, etc.).
Warning
- Keep this product between 0°C and 35°C during use.
- Do not expose the product to dripping or splashing, and objects containing liquid (e.g. water bottles). Do not place objects containing liquid on or near the product to avoid dampness or liquid ingress into the product and its accessories as this may lead to functional failure or danger of electric shock.
- Do not place this product near a fire or heat source (e.g. lighter) to avoid deformation of the glasses due to heating as this may lead to functional failure or misfire.
- If you are allergic to silicone, plastic, metal, fiber, nylon and other materials, exposure to these materials for an extended period of time may cause an allergic reaction. If you develop a rash or feel any discomfort, stop wearing the glasses and consult your doctor.
- Please clean the glasses frame and lenses regularly to avoid discomfort caused by wearing dirty glasses.
- Do not wear the glasses while charging. Do not charge the glasses during lightning storms.
- Please only use accessories specified by Shokz.
- Use this product only with an agency-approved power supply that meets local regulatory requirements (e.g., UL, CSA, VDE, CCC).
- This product should not be charged near chip cards (such as a bank card) and other metal materials as this may affect the normal usage of the charger and/or materials.
- This product is not for use as eye protection against mechanical impact hazards, please do not collide with hard objects. The glassed of this product has been tested as impact resistant acording to the US FDA Reg.21CFR801.410, but do not form an unbreakable or indestructible barrier for protecting the eyes.
- This product is not suitable for contact sports as there is a risk of facial injury due to product breakage.
- This product is not suitable for protecting the eyes at work (e.g. welding).
- All colored lenses(including lenses from category 1 to 3) are not suitable for driving in twilight or at night.
- Certain colored lenses are designed for performance applications and may not be able to identify road signs. If the glasses impair your peripheral version, do not wear while driving.
- This product is not for direct observation of the sun, not for protection against artificial light sources, e.g. solaria;
- Do not make unauthorized alterations to this product as this will result in the product and accessories not being covered by the Shokz warranty. If the products malfunctions, take your product and provide proof of purchase to Shokz or to an authorized dealer for assistance.
Water Protection
