The Taiga GMT is a timepiece that allows you to set the time, date, and a second time zone (GMT). It features a crown for adjusting the settings and a yellow GMT hand for indicating the second time zone. The watch also has 24-hour markers on the outer ring of the dial for easy time reading.
Product Usage Instructions
- Remove the lock from the crown.
- To set the correct time, pull the crown to position 3 and turn it until the correct time is displayed.
- To set the date, push the crown in by one position to position 2. Turn the crown clockwise until the correct date is displayed. Push the crown back to the starting position (position 1).
- To set the second time zone (GMT), leave the crown in position 2. Turn it counterclockwise to the correct hand position.
Note: If your date changes at noon instead of midnight, wind your timepiece forward by 12 hours.
Note: The yellow GMT hand indicates the second time zone. The outer ring of the dial has 24-hour markers to help you read off the time in the second time zone.
How to setup your timepiece
- Remove the lock from the crown.
- To set the correct time, pull the crown to position 3 and turn it until the correct time is displayed.
- To set the date, push the crown in by one position so that it is in position 2. Turn the crown clockwise until the correct date is displayed. Now you can push the crown back to the starting position (position 1).
- Note: Your date changes at noon? This is because the movement does not „know” if it is noon or midnight. If so, simply wind your timepiece forward by 12 hours.
- To set the second time zone (GMT), leave the crown in position 2, but turn it counterclockwise to the correct hand position.
- Note: Are you wondering how to read the second time zone? This is indicated by the yellow GMT hand, just like on a single-hand watch. On the outer ring of the dial you will find 24-hour markers. This way you can easily read off the time.
