HUUM DROP Series Electric Sauna Heaters Instructions

The retainer is installed inside DROP 7 and 9 heater between the heating elements. The retainer helps to keep the heating elements from mutual contact while laying stones or using the heater and extends their life.

Installation of the retainer of HUUM DROP 7 and 9 heating elements

Attach the heater to the wall and lay about half of the stones in the heater (counting from the bottom up to 5-6 ribs).

• Place the back edge of the retainer above the heating elements against the back side of the heater.
• If necessary, slightly bend the front part of the retainer so that it would fit into the heater between the upper rib.
• Fit the tips of the heating elements through the oblong holes in the retainer plate.
• Push the retainer down so that its rear edge is fixed to the 3rd rib from above.
• Push the first edge of the retainer down until it rests firmly on the horizontal supports inside the heater.

Now put the rest of the stones in the heater. There is no need to lay stones under the retainer between the heating elements.

Installation of the heat diverter

Attach the frame of DROP heater to the wall. Make the necessary electrical connections.
ATTENTION! Make sure that the cables pass through the hole in the reflector of DROP heater before connecting to the heater. Put the reflector and the heater on the floor without connecting them to each other.

• Hold the heat diverter with the curved edge facing away from you and angled upwards.
• Bend the lugs on both sides about 0.2 in / 5 mm up.
• Turn the heat diverter upright and fit into the gaps in the carriers on the back side of the heater. With the help of carriers and lugs, the heat diverter is fixed in place against the back of the heater.

Now you can continue with the installation of the heater. Attach the reflector to the heater, place the heater on the wall frame and tighten the security bolt on the right side of the wall frame.
