Safety Instructions
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed, including the following:
Carefully read this instruction manual before using the appliance and/or the
USB cable.

Keep the Fan and USB cable out of reach of young children.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the Appliance and/or USB cable.

Ensure children and babies do not play with plastic bags or any packaging materials.

Do not disassemble the Appliance and/or USB cable. There are no user serviceable parts inside.

VERY IMPORTANT:
Ensure that the appliance and/or USB cable does not get wet (water splashes etc.).
Do not use the appliance or the USB cable with wet hands.
Do not immerse the appliance and/or the USB cable in water or other liquids or use near sinks, baths, or showers.
For cleaning and descaling, please refer to (Care and Cleaning) section.
For filling, please refer to (Filling the Water Tank) section.
Unplug the appliance during filling and cleaning. -
Only use with the USB cable that was supplied with the appliance.
The power must only be supplied at safety extra low voltage corresponding to the rating specified on the appliance’s Rating Label. -
Position the USB power supply lead properly so that it will not be walked on or pinched by items placed on or against them.

Use the appliance and USB cable only for its intended use. The appliance and USB cable is intended for household use only and not for commercial or industrial use.

Inspect the USB cable and appliance for damage prior to every use.

Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped or any part of the appliance and/or the USB cable has been damaged.

If the USB cable is damaged, call our customer service for a replacement.

The use of accessories not intended for use with this the appliance may cause injuries to the user or damage to the appliance and/or the USB cable.

Do not sit the appliance on other appliances, on uneven surfaces or where it could be subject to heat sources (e.g., radiators or stoves), direct sunlight, excessive dust, or mechanical vibrations.
The appliance and/or USB cable must not be used outdoors if raining, near water, placed near a hot gas or electrical burner or placed in a heated oven. -
Do not place or leave near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus that produce heat.

Do not operate the appliance underneath or near flammable or combustible materials (e.g., curtains). Keep at least 300mm clearance around sides, back, front and top.

Always switch off and unplug the USB cable when finished using the appliance, or during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.

Do not cover the appliance when in use.

Always switch off and unplug the USB cable before cleaning, filling, refilling, or storing.

Any type of servicing, apart from ordinary cleaning, must be carried out by a qualified electrical person only. There are no user serviceable parts in this appliance and USB cable.

Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

If this appliance and USB cable is used by a third party, please supply the instruction manual with it.

Do not misuse the USB cable. Never carry the appliance by the USB cable or pull to disconnect it from the socket. Instead, grasp the plug and pull to disconnect.

Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter the grille openings or the mist generators as this may cause damage to the appliance and/or injury to the user.

Do not leave the appliance running or charging unattended.

Avoid contacting moving parts. Keep fingers, hair, clothing and other items away from the Fan grille during operation to prevent personal injury and/or damage to the appliance.

No liability can be accepted for any damage caused by non-compliance with these instructions or any other improper use or mishandling of the appliance and/or USB cable.

This product has not been designed for any uses other than those specified in this manual.

ONLY for domestic use. Industrial or commercial use invalidates the warranty.
At the end of the fan’s life, it must be disposed of correctly.

Instructions for Use
3.1 Attaching the Feet
- First, the feet need to be attached to the appliance.
- Turn the appliance upside down, take one of the feet, locate over the recess and then press down hard until the foot clips in place.
- Repeat for the other three feet.
3.2 Filling the Water Tank
- Remove the lid from the water tank by peeling off with aid of the tab on the lid and fill up to the “MAX” line with fresh cool Tap Water only.
IMPORTANT:
-
Only use Tap Water.
DO NOT use Demineralized Water or Distilled Water as this will affect the function of the Mist Generators and may cause water leaks. -
Always turn off the appliance and unplug from the power supply before filling/re-filling.
-
Never fill with Hot water.
-
Never add anything else to the water.
-
Never overfill the water tank.
-
Take care if moving the appliance with a full tank.
3.3 Water Level Sensor
The water tank has a water sensor located in the bottom.
When the water is consumed to the point where the sensor can no longer detect
the water, the Mist Function will automatically turn off.
Refill the water tank with Tap Water only, and press the Mist Button again to
select your desired Mist level.
3.4 Attaching the USB Cable
- Remove the cable tie from the USB cable and unravel the cable before operation.
- Place the fan on a flat level surface. (Refer to “Safety Instruction” section for Do’s and Don’ts)
- Insert the large USB plug into a USB power supply (not included) providing 5Vd.c. with a maximum output of 2A.
- Plug the small end of the USB cable directly into the Power Inlet on the back of the appliance.
3.5 Fan On / Off

With the 5Vd.c. power supply (with a maximum output of 2A) inserted into the power point, turn the power on. The indictor light under to Power Button will illuminate indicating power is supplied.

To turn the fan On, press and immediately release the “Power” Button.
The fan will start with low fan speed indicated by the number 1 indicator light illuminating under the Fan Speed Button. -
To turn the fan off, press and immediately release the “Power” Button again.
3.6 Fan Speed

To adjust the fan speed from 1 to 2, press and immediately release the Fan Speed Button
The fan will change to Med fan speed indicated by the number 2 indicator light illuminating under the Fan Speed Button. -
To adjust the fan speed from 2 to 3, press and immediately release the Fan Speed Button again.
The fan will change to High fan speed indicated by the number 3 indicator light illuminating under the Fan Speed Button. -
Press and immediately release the Fan Speed Button again and the fan will cycle back around to Off.
3.7 Mist

To use the mist function, first turn the fan on as previously described.

Set you desired Fan Speed.

Press and immediately release the Mist Button and the centre mist generator will emit a fine mist. This is Low setting as indicted by one indictor light illuminating under the Mist Button.

Press and immediately release the Mist Button again and the centre mist generator and the two Side Mist Generators will emit a fine mist. This is Med setting as indicted by two indictor lights illuminating under the Mist Button.

Press and immediately release the Mist Button again and all five mist generator will emit a fine mist. This is High setting as indicted by three indictor lights illuminating under the Mist Button.

Press and immediately release the Mist Button again and the Mist Generation will cycle back around to Off.
NOTE: Depending on the ambient humidity etc. the Mist Generators may occasionally drip water.
If this occurs, either turn off the Mist Function, or place an absorbent cloth or a tray under the appliance to catch the drips.
3.8 Fan Angle Adjustment
The Angle of the fan can be adjusted up and down to suit your requirements.
The adjust, hold the body of the appliance to stabilise it, and then you can
push either the top or the bottom of the fan grille inward to direct the air
flow up or down.
3.9 Timer
Use this power-saving feature if you want the appliance to turn off
automatically.
- To select the Off time, press and immediately release the “TIMER” button once. It will advance to 1h as indicated by the indicator light. The fan will turn off after approximately 1 hour.
- Press and immediately release the “TIMER” button again. It will advance to 2h as indicated by the indicator light. The fan will turn off after approximately 2 hours.
- Press and immediately release the “TIMER” button again. It will advance to 3h as indicated by the indicator light. The fan will turn off after approximately 3 hours.
- Press and immediately release the “TIMER” button again. It will cycle back around to 1h as indicated by the indicator light. The fan will turn off after approximately 1 hour.
- To turn off the timer, press and immediately release the “Power” button. This will turn off the appliance and reset the Timer function.
3.10 LED Lighting
There is a built in LED light inside the water tank for mood lighting.
- To turn the light on, fist start the fan and then press and immediately release the “Light” button.
- The white light will turn on.
- With each consecutive press and release of the “Light” Button, the light colour will change through a range of eight colours.
- Press and release the “Light” Button a ninth time and the light will turn off.
Care and Cleaning
NOTE: Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision
- Ensure that the appliance is switched off and unplugged from the power supply.
- The Front and Rear grille can be cleaned with the aid of a vacuum cleaner and small brush.
- Never stick anything inside the fan grilles. Only clean the outside.
- Clean the body assembly with a clean, dry cloth.
- Clean the inside of the water tank with clean cool tap water and a soft cloth.
- Never spray with liquids or submerge the appliance or USB cable in water or any other liquid.
- Do not use flammable liquids, chemicals, abrasive creams, steel wool or scouring pads for cleaning.
4.1 Descaling
In some areas, the water being used may be high in minerals (Hard Water)
and over time, there may be small deposits of scale build up in the water tank
and on the mist generators.
To remove the scale deposits:
-
Fill the water tank with one part of white vinegar and three parts of cold water and stir.

Refit the Water Tank Lid.
-
Leave to soak for 1 – 2 hours.
-
After soaking for the required time, pour out the mixture.
Note: if necessary, repeat the process with a fresh vinegar/water mixture until no more scale deposits are seen. -
Rinse out the water tank up with fresh clean water and repeat the rinsing process with clean water until no more vinegar odour is left.

To clean the Mist Generator, use a clean cloth that has been soaked in a vinegar/water solution and wipe the areas affected. DO NOT push hard on the metal discs. Just gently wipe.

Clean the same area with a cloth soaked in fresh clean water to remove the vinegar/water solution.
IMPORTANT:
DO NOT run the appliance with the Vinegar in the system as this may cause
damage to the appliance components.
Storage
- Switch off and unplug the appliance.
- Ensure the water tank is empty and dry.
- Coil the USB cable loosely. Do not kink or pull the cable tight.
- Store your appliance in a cool, dry location.
Troubleshooting

materials and workmanship for the period stated above, from the date of
purchase, provided that the product is used in accordance with accompanying
recommendations or instructions where provided. This warranty is in addition
to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Kmart will provide you with your choice of a refund, repair or exchange (where
possible) for this product if it becomes defective within the warranty period.
Kmart will bear the reasonable expense of claiming the warranty. This warranty
will no longer apply where the defect is a result of alteration, accident,
misuse, abuse or neglect.

any difficulties with your product. Warranty claims and claims for expense

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian
Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund or a major failure
and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are
also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be
of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
For New Zealand customers, this warranty is in addition to statutory rights
observed under New Zealand legislation.
