Product Information

  • The LU-3629 Hot Plate is a compact and versatile cooking appliance. It features a stainless steel housing, a burner, a heating indicator, and a temperature control switch. The hot plate is designed for cooking purposes and should not be used for drying clothes or other objects.

Product Usage Instructions

Important Safety Instructions:

  • Do not use the hot plate near explosives or flammable materials.
  • Do not move the appliance until it has completely cooled down.
  • Avoid touching the metal parts of the hot plate during operation as they can get very hot.
  • Do not use the hot plate for purposes other than cooking. Avoid drying clothes, papers, or other objects on it.
  • Always check the temperature of prepared meals, especially if serving to children.
  • Allow the dish to cool down after cooking before handling.

Before the First Use:

  1. Remove all packing material from the appliance.
  2. Turn on the hot plate to the highest position (3) and let it run for 5-10 minutes. This will condition the protective coating. It is important to do this without a cooking utensil on the hot plate.
  3. Some parts of the cooking plate may produce slight smoke during the initial use due to slight greasing. This will stop after a short time.

Instructions for Use:

  1. Place the hot plate on a stable and heat-resistant surface.
  2. Connect the hot plate to a power supply.
  3. Adjust the temperature control switch to the desired heat level.
  4. Place a cooking utensil with food on the burner.
  5. Monitor the cooking process and adjust the temperature as needed.
  6. After cooking, turn off the hot plate and disconnect it from the power supply.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

  1. Unplug the hot plate from the power supply before cleaning.
  2. Allow the hot plate to cool down completely.
  3. Wipe the external surfaces with a damp cloth and some washing-up liquid.
  4. Do not use abrasive detergents, organic solvents, or aggressive chemicals.
  5. Regularly clean the burner and remove any food residues or grease for optimal performance.

Warranty Information

The warranty does not cover supplies such as filters, ceramic and non-stick coating, rubber seals, etc. The production date can be found in the serial number located on the identification sticker on the gift box and/or on a sticker on the appliance.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

  • Remove all packing material from the appliance.
  • Before using your Hot plate for the first time, turn the Hot plate on the highest position 3 for 5-10 minutes to condition the protective coating.
  • This should be the only time the hot plate is turned on without a cooking utensil on it.
  • Some parts of the cooking plate have been slightly greased and as a result, the unit may slightly smoke when switched on for the first time. After a short time, this will cease.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE

  • Place the appliance on a flat, stable surface, able to hold its weight with the food to be cooked on it.
  • Turn the temperature control switch to “0” (OFF).
  • Plug in the appliance.
  • Turning the temperature switch, choose the necessary heating mode: from 1 (slow heating) to 3 (the highest temperature available).
  • The light indicator will go off when the burner reaches the selected temperature and will cycle on and off to maintain the temperature.
  • Cooking pots and pans should have a flat bottom, their dimensions should be identical with those of the burner.
  • Switch the unit off or to a lower heating mode in good time in order to save energy. The burner will still emit intensive heat for a few minutes, which can be used to complete the cooking process.
  • The cooking plate is equipped with a thermostat which prevents overheating. Nevertheless, you should always switch off the unit after cooking: turn the temperature control switch to the “0” position and unplug the
    appliance.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Unplug the appliance from the power supply before cleaning.
  • Let the unit cool down completely.
  • Wipe external surfaces with a damp cloth with some washing-up liquid. Do not use abrasive detergents, any organic solvent, or aggressive chemicals.
