- Unauthorized repairs, alterations or changes to the product are prohibited.
- Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, vibrations or shocks.
Caution! Risk of injury
Keep this instrument and the battery out of reach of children.
- Batteries contain harmful acids and may be hazardous if swallowed. If a battery is swallowed, this can lead to serious internal burns and death within two hours. If you suspect a battery could have been swallowed or otherwise caught in the body, seek medical help immediately.
- Batteries must not be thrown into a fire, short-circuited, taken apart or recharged. Risk of explosion!
- Low batteries should be changed as soon as possible to prevent damage caused by leaking.
- Wear chemical-resistant protective gloves and safety glasses when handling leaking batteries.
Getting started
- Remove the protective film from the display.
- Open the battery compartment at the back of the instrument and remove the insulation strip.
- The middle display shows the current temperature.
- Press the °C/°F button to change between °C (Celsius) or °F (Fahrenheit) as temperature unit.
Maximum and minimum temperature
- The upper display shows the maximum (MAX) temperature and the lower display shows the minimum (MIN) temperature since setting up or the last reset.
- Press the CLEAR button to reset the maximum and minimum temperatures and the actual temperature appears.
Fixing
- Hang up the device by one screw using the suspension hole.
- To install the device outside choose a shady and dry place. Inside avoid radiators and direct sunshine.
Care and maintenance
- Clean the device with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents.
- Remove the battery if the device will not be used for an extended period of time.

- No display/ incorrect display
- Ensure battery polarity is correct
- Change the battery (1,5 V AAA)
If your device fails to work despite these measures contact the supplier from whom you purchased it.
Waste disposal

- Never dispose of empty batteries and rechargeable batteries in ordinary household waste.
