Installation Instructions:

  1. Place the SPOUT (1) hoses, one at a time, and thread ROD (2) through the center hole of the mounting surface. Secure SPOUT (1) into place with WASHER (3), BRACKET (4), and NUT (5). See Figure 1.
  2. Place flange NUT (6), WASHER (7), and SPACER (8) on valve BODY (9). Insert valve BODY (9) through the hole in the mounting surface and thread into INVERTED NUT (10) until it bottoms out. Before tightening NUT (5), check the alignment of the handle. Any adjustments for rotational alignment must be made to the valve BODY (9), not to the cartridge. See Figure 1 & Figure 2.
  3. Connect hot/cold water supply to appropriate 1/2 NPSM valve BODY (9), utilizing one of the three following types of risers. Supply risers are not included. See Figure 3.
    • a. 1/2 IPS flexible riser: discard rubber nosecone WASHER (12), friction WASHER (13), and coupling NUT (14).
    • b. 3/8 or 1/2 OD bullnose riser: utilize friction WASHER (13) and coupling NUT (14).
    • c. 1/2 copper riser: utilize rubber nosecone WASHER (12), friction WASHER (13), and coupling NUT (14).
  4. Secure HANDLE (15) into place by first engaging the STEM (16) and then threading HANDLE BODY (17) onto CARTRIDGE (18). Any adjustments for rotational alignment must be made to the valve BODY (9), not to the CARTRIDGE (18). See Figure 4.
  5. Insert ball ROD (28) into the drain rod OPENING (29); secure with ball rod NUT (30). Insert pop-up ROD (31) through SPOUT (1) and secure to STRAP (32), approximately 1 inch from the end of ROD (31), with SCREW (33). Place drain PLUG (19) into FLANGE (20). Adjust the rise of the plunger and CLIP (34) into place. Adjust ball ROD (28) and pop-up ROD (31) so the drain will open and close properly. See Figure 6.
  6. Remove AERATOR (36) from SPOUT (1). Turn on the water supply and flush both VALVES until the water is clear. Check for leaks and make any final adjustments required. Re-attach AERATOR (33) to the SPOUT (1). See Figure 6.
