Product Information

The Argon Audio FENRIS active speakers are designed with the environment in mind. By eliminating the need for a printed manual,we save more than 20 tons of paper each year. For safety, it is recommended to unplug the speakers from the power outlet if they will be unused for long periods of time to prevent lightning and power- line surge damage.

The FENRIS active speakers are equipped with various symbols to provide important information to the user. A lightning flash with an arrow head indicates the presence of un-insulated dangerous voltage within the product, which may pose a risk of electricshock. An exclamation point signifies that there is important operating and maintenance information in the User Manual. If there is a double rectangular symbol, it means that the product is double insulated and does not require an earth connection.

Product Usage Instructions

Quick Start

  1. Connect the speakers using the included speaker cable.
  2. Plug the power cord into an electric outlet and into the back of the speakers.

Basic Operating

  1. The FENRIS speakers will automatically power on and switch to the right input when they receive input from any connected source (except Phono). This feature is called Auto Power Up.
  2. To disable Auto Power Up, press and hold the power button on the remote control for 5 seconds while the speakers are on. Thespeakers will now power off with APU disabled. This also disables automatic power off, so you will need to manually turn off the speakers.
  3. To enable Auto Power Up again, simply press and hold the power button for 5 seconds when the speaker is powered off.
  4. To reset all Bluetooth connections, press and hold the `BT’ button. Please note that Bluetooth pairing is only available when the Bluetooth input is selected.
  5. To enable dimming of the LED on the front of the speaker, power on the speaker and hold the D1 button on the remote for 5 seconds. The LED will turn off after 5 seconds when switching inputs. To disable this feature, press and hold D1 for 5 seconds again.

Safety

Safety Instructions

Unplug this product from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use this product near water or moisture. Do not spill liquids on the product. Clean only with a dry cloth.

INSTRUCTIONS

  • If there is a Lightning flash with an arrow head on the product, it’s intended to alert the User of the presence of un-insulated “dangerous voltage” within the product, that might be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.
  • If there is an Exclamation point on the product, it’s intended to alert the User that there is important operating and maintenance (servicing) information in the User manual.
  • If there is a double rectangular symbol on the product, it means that the product is double insulated. Earth connection is not required.

Quick start

  1. Connect the speakers using the included speaker
  2. Connect the power cord into an electric outlet and into the back of the left speaker (which has the amplifier). The LED light on the loudspeaker will turn on.
  3. To pair your Bluetooth device, turn on the speakers and press and hold ‘BT’ on your remote for about 3 seconds, until the LED starts Your speakers are now in pairing mode. Activate Bluetooth on your playback device and scan for devices. Your speaker will show up as “Argon Audio FENRIS”. Press “pair” and you’re connected. The LED light on the speaker will change to solid blue. You’re now ready to start listening to music!
  4. Besides Bluetooth, your FENRIS speakers have four more inputs: TV ARC, D1, AUX and Phono. FENRIS will automatically switch between the inputs, but you can also use the included remote control to select your wished input.
  5. When using the TV ARC input, you might need to set the digital sound output on your TV to PCM. Consult your TV manual to see
  6. When connecting a turntable to the Phono input on the FENRIS speaker, remember to also connect the ground wire from the turntable to the metal GND screw (if applicable).
  7. If you have an active subwoofer, connect it to the FENRIS speaker’s Pre-out, using an RCA cable and then connect the cable to your subwoofer.
  8. We recommend a running-in time of your FENRIS speakers of approximately 15-20 hours at normal listening level before you decide on the final positioning of the

Basic operating
