Thank you for choosing the Gamma Clarity 40 Hz Audio Entrainment Device from Gamma Light Therapy.
In order for you to become familiar with the operation of this device, we have provided you with this user’s manual. With this manual you can learn information about the device and its operation.

Before using this device, please read the complete manual and disclaimer to ensure proper use of this product.

*Before operating the Gamma Clarity 40 Hz Audio Entrainment Device for the first time, please charge the device until the red light goes out. (See charging instructions below) Introduction

Operating the Gamma Clarity 40 Hz Audio Entrainment Device

Indicator Lights

A. ON/OFF: When the device is turned on the red light will remain on. When you turn the device off the red light will go off.
B. CHARGING: While charging the device, the red light will remain on and turn off when the device is fully charged.
C. PLAY/PAUSE: When play/pause is pressed, the red indicator light flashes slowly when the device is playing. When pressed again the device is paused, the red light indicator remains solid.
D. SKIP FORWARD/SKIP BACKWARD: The red light will remain on.
E. POWER REMINDER: When the device is turned on, the number of times that the red indicator light flashes indicates the remain amount of charge of the product. Full power flashes four times.

Turning Your Gamma Clarity 40 Hz Audio Entrainment Device On and Off

  1. Turn on: Press and hold the Play/Pause button for 2 seconds, when the red light comes on, and the system is turned on.
  2. Turn off: Press and hold the Play/Pause button to turn the device off. The red indicator light will turn off when the device is turned off.
  3. Automatic shutoff: The system will turn off automatically after 3 minutes without use while paused and the red indicator light will turn off.
    Note : The function of the buttons is effective only when the indicator light is on. For example: if you press the play/pause button and do not hold it for 2 seconds, the light indicator will come on, but the device will not play or pause.

Charging Your Gamma Clarity 40 Hz Audio Entrainment Device

  • The device has an internal, rechargeable battery. For best results, charge the battery to full capacity before the first time you use it.
  • When the device is charging, the device must be turned on and the red light indicator will remain on (solid). When charging is complete, the red light will shut off.
  • It is a good idea to recharge your device after each use and when it has not been in operation for some time, so it is fully charged and ready to use.

To charge the device using your computer :

  • Connect the device to a high-power USB port on your computer using the included cable. The computer must be turned on and not in sleep mode (some models of Mac can charge the device while in sleep mode). The plug end (jack) of the charger should be inserted into the Headphones Port on device and then the usb end is inserted into a usb port.
  • When the battery is charging, the red light indicator will remain on (solid). If you do not see the red light, the device might not be connected to a high-power USB port. Try another USB port on your computer.
  • If you want to charge the device when you are away from your computer, you can connect it to any approved 5v USB power adapter.
    NOTE : This is the same part of the device that the earphones are plugged into. Therefore, you cannot listen to this device with the earphones while it is charging.

Using the Provided Earphones

  1. Insert the plug end (jack) of the earphones into the Headphones Port.
  2. Insert the earbuds into your ears.
  3. The Gamma 40hz Audio Device uses a standard 3.5mm audio out port. Any standard headphones with a 3.5mm jack are compatible to use with the device. We suggest using headphones that are most comfortable for you.
  4. The volume can be adjusted up (+) or down (-) by pressing the corresponding Volume buttons located on the side of the device.

This section contains important safety and handling information for your Gamma Clarity 40hz Audio Entrainment Device. NOTICE : Failure to follow these handling instructions could result in damage to your device or other property.

Avoid Water and Wet Locations:

  • Do not use your Gamma Clarity 40 Hz Audio Entrainment Device in rain or other near other water sources (shower, bathtub, swimming pool, hot tub).
  • Do not use the device while eating or drinking. In the event your device gets wet, unplug all cables and earphones, and turn off before cleaning. Allow it to dry thoroughly before turning it on again.
  • Do not bend, drop, crush, puncture, incinerate, or open your Gamma Clarity 40 Hz Audio Entrainment Device
  • Do not force any connector into a port. Check for obstructions on the port. If the connector and port do not join with reasonable ease, they probably do not match. Make sure that the connector matches the port you are attempting to use and that you have positioned the connector correctly in relation to the port.
  • Do not use the device in extreme temperatures. Use your device operate correctly when air temperatures are between 0º and 35º C (32º to 95º F). Please note that play time may be temporarily shorten in low-temperature conditions.
  • Do not store your device in extreme temperatures. Always store your device in a place where the temperature remains between -20º and 45º C(-4º to 113º F). Do not leave the device in your vehicle, because temperatures in parked vehicles can exceed this recommended range.
  • Do not use window cleaners, household cleaners, aerosol sprays, solvents, alcohol, ammonia, or abrasives to clean this device. To clean your device, unplug and disconnect all cables and cords. Use a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Avoid getting moisture in openings.
  • Do not attempt to repair your Gamma Clarity 40 Hz Audio Entrainment Device yourself. This product does not contain any user serviceable parts. The battery in the device is not replaceable. For questions and concerns, please contact us via email at support@gammalighttherapy.com.
  • Do not use any of our products if you have epilepsy, a history of seizures, or experience any level of discomfort.

Avoiding hearing damage

  • Permanent hearing loss may occur if earbuds or headphones are used at high volume. Always set the volume to a safe and comfortable level. Your body can adapt over time to higher volumes of sound that may sound normal. However, these higher volumes can be damaging to your hearing. If you experience ringing in your ears or muffled speech, stop using this device and have your hearing checked. The louder the volume, the less time is required before your hearing could be affected.
  • Hearing experts suggest that to protect your hearing you should limit the amount of time you use earbuds or headphones at high volume. Avoid turning up the volume to block out noisy surroundings. Turn the volume down if you cannot hear people speaking close to you.
  • For information about how to set a volume see the section above on “Using the Provided Earphones” -Use of headphones or earphones while operating a vehicle is not recommended and is illegal in some states.

-We do not recommend using your Gamma Clarity 40 Hz Audio Entrainment Device for more than one hour per day.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If your device is not working properly there are a few things you can try:

Press and hold the play/pause button for 90 seconds and see if the red light comes on. If the light comes on, you can let go of the button, then push it again for 3 seconds to turn it off. Then turn back on and use as normal. Sometimes when connecting to a charger if you are pushing multiple buttons it can get stuck and this is the only way to get it back out.
There is a hidden reset button on the device. See the photo below. You will need to insert a paper clip or SIM card pin into the hole to reset the device. Push & hold the button for 30 seconds. Before attempting to power on the device, charge it for 24 hours. Please contact us if this does not resolve your issue.
