Gamma Narcissus Warm Delay Effects Pedal
Gamma Narcissus Warm Delay Effects Pedal

Introduction

Your GAMMA SERIES Narcissus Warm Delay from Acoustic Control Corporation allows you to add inspiring echoes to your guitar sound, with a tone quality reminiscent of classic “bucket brigade” delay units. The delay chip at the heart of this pedal provides echoes that get darker with each repeat, helping to ensure that the ambience Narcissus creates doesn’t obscure the new notes you are playing, as echoes of previous notes are fading away.
It’s all built into a road-ready metal chassis with metal knobs, operating from either a 9-volt battery, or 9-volt DC power supply.

FEATURES

  • Classic bucket brigade-style delay, for warm echoes that won’t obscure what you play
  • All metal chassis and knobs and a road-ready design
  • Simple operation for easy access to essential sound for electric guitar
  • Operates from a 9-volt battery or 9V DC adapter (battery and DC supply not included)

Product Description

  1. DC 9V Power Input Jack
You can power your GAMMA Series pedal from a 9-volt regulated DC adapter (plug polarity is positive on the barrel and negative in the center).

  2. Battery Capability
Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove 4 bottom screws to access battery connection. High quality alkaline 9-volt battery can be used for approximately 12 hours of continual operation. If pedal won’t operate when battery is installed, battery may be discharged, and should be replaced with a fresh, fully-charged battery. Or connect a compatible power supply for non-battery operation.

  3. Footswitch
Push down the footswitch to toggle between on and bypass status.

  4. LED
When the LED is lit, the effect is on.
When it’s off, the effect is bypassed.

  5. INPUT Jack
¼” mono audio jack, to receive the signal from your guitar or a previous pedal. Pedal draws power only when this jack has a plug inserted.

  6. OUTPUT Jack
¼” mono audio jack, outputs the signal.

  7. LEVEL Knob
Adjusts the volume of the echoes from minimum, to maximum. The level of your “dry” guitar sound is not affected.

  8. TIME Knob
Adjusts the timing of the echoes, from 25ms to 600ms, letting you achieve tight “slap back” echo, thickening delays, or quarter note-timed echoes down to 100 bpm.

  9. ECHOES Knob
Determines how many times a given echo will repeat, with settings near maximum allowing each echo to increase in volume, to create a continuous “crashing” of darkening echoes.
