Product Usage Instructions
Mounting the Head
- Hold the head and align it with the main body.
- Push the head onto the main body until it clicks into place.
Mounting the Comb Attachment
- Select the desired comb attachment (G, H, or I) based on the desired trimming height.
- Align the comb attachment with the head and push it onto the head until it clicks into place.
Note: The trimmer can also be used without the comb attachment for a trimming height of approximately 0.5 mm.
Turning on the Power
Switch on the power to start using the trimmer.
Removing and Mounting the Head
- To remove the head, push the head release button and lift the head off the main body.
- When the head is removed, stand it upright.
- To mount the head, align it with the main body and push it down until it clicks into place.
Cleaning the Trimmer
Removing Light Dirt
- Remove the comb attachment.
- Run water down the water inlet to remove light dirt.
- Shake the head up and down several times to remove excess water.
- Wipe off any remaining water with a dry cloth and ensure it is completely dry.
Removing Heavy Dirt
- Remove the head, comb attachment, and blade.
- Rinse them with running water to remove heavy dirt.
- Shake the head up and down several times to remove excess water.
- Wipe off any remaining water with a dry cloth and ensure all parts are completely dry.
Removing and Mounting the Blade
To remove the blade
- Hold the head securely.
- Place your thumb against the blades and push them away from the head.
To mount the blade
- Fit the mounting hook into the blade mounting on the head.
- Push in until you hear a click to secure the blade.
Lubrication
- Apply a drop of lubrication oil to each indicated point.
- Attach the blade to the head.
- Switch on the power and allow the trimmer to run for approximately 5 seconds.
Troubleshooting
If the trimmer becomes blunt or makes a loud sound:
- Clean the blade and apply lubrication oil.
- If the problem persists, replace the blade.
- If the problems still cannot be solved, contact your dealer or a service center authorized by Panasonic for repair.

Important information

How to use
- Clean the appliance after use.
- Mount the head to the main body until it clicks.
- Mount the desired comb attachment and adjust the trimming height as needed.
- It can also be used without the comb attachment.
- (Trimming height: approx. 0.5 mm)
- Turn on the power
Note
The use time after a full charge is as follows.
- ER-CBL1: 70 minutes
- ER-CBN1: 40 minutes
(Based on dry use at 20 °C – 30 °C)
The operating time may differ depending on the frequency of use and the
operating method.
Removing and mounting
(Fig. 2)
- Remove the head while pushing the head release button (C ).
- Stand the head when it is removed.
- Mount the head to the main body until it clicks.

the comb attachment to the head until it clicks.
How to clean
- Make sure that the main body is turned off.
- Lubricate after cleaning

- Remove the comb attachment, and run water down the water inlet. (Fig. 4)
- Remove the head, comb attachment, and blade, and rinse them with running water.
- Shake up and down several times to remove the water.
- Wipe off the water with a dry cloth and dry it well.
- Removing and mounting the blade
- To remove the blade, hold the head, place your thumb against the blades, and then push them away from the head. (Fig. 5-1)
- To mount the blade, fit the mounting hook ( C) into the blade mounting on the head ( B) and then push in until you hear a click. (Fig. 5-2)
Replacement parts
- Blade: once every three years
- The replacement part is available at your dealer or Service Centre.

- Lubrication oil WES003P
- Lubrication (Fig. 6)
- Apply a drop of lubrication oil to each indicated point.
Attach the blade to the head, turn on the power, and allow it to run for approximately 5 seconds
Troubleshooting
If the problems still cannot be solved, contact your dealer or a service center authorized by Panasonic for repair.
