Product Information

The STAYFIT AR 5108 Digital Glass Bathroom Scale is a high-quality bathroom scale designed to accurately measure your weight. It features a white colored stained glass surface, making it both stylish and durable. The scale also includes an LCD screen that displays your weight in a clear and easily readable format. It offers the option to select weight units in kilograms, stones, or pounds. The scale is powered by a 3V DC x CR2032 lithium battery, which provides a long product life of up to 7 years.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Before using the scale, we recommend reading the instruction manual carefully and keeping it for future reference.
2. To place the battery, locate the battery section on the scale and insert a 3V DC x CR2032 lithium battery.
3. To set your personal data, turn on the scale by pressing the power button. Wait for a few seconds until the screen displays your body fat percentage next to the symbol.
4. Operate the scale by stepping on the surface. Your weight will be displayed on the LCD screen.
5. To replace the lithium battery, follow the instructions provided in the manual.

USAGE AND MAINTENANCE RECOMMENDATIONS

• Placing your Stayfit Digital Glass Bathroom Scale on a hard and flat ground will ensure the maximum precision and the repeatability.
• Always get weighted with the same scale placed in the same place. The irregular grounds may affect the weight readings.
• Get weighted before the meals and always at the same hour without dressings and shoes.
• Your scale has 100 gr. (0.1 kg) 0.2 lb sensitivity. In case you are weighted for twice and obtain the different readings, then your weight is between these two readings.
• Wipe your scale with a damp cloth; however, do not allow water to enter in. Do not use the chemical cleaning substances.
• Do not maintain your scale in very humid places, and do not plunge into the water or other liquid.
• Ensure the surface where you place the bathroom scale and the platform of the scale is dry to avoid slipping
• Do not keep your appliance upright when you do not use. When you keep it upright, the battery may empty and cause failure.
• Remove the battery when you do not use for the prolonged periods.
• Do not drop your scale to the ground and do not jump on it.
• If you cannot open your scale, check if the battery is placed or not or if the battery is very weak or not. Replace new battery.
• The scale is a sensible electronic instrument. Some appliances of high frequency such as mobiles, radio stations, remote controls and microwaves, can cause disturbs if the scale is used too close to them. Keep it far away of these points if you notice irregularities on the display.
• Do not open inner part of your device. If there is any problem you could not solve, then consult the nearest Arzum Authorized Service.
• Use your appliance for its intended purposes as recommended.

PLACING THE BATTERY
Place 1 unit of CR 2032 lithium battery into the battery section under your scale.(Included)

SET PERSONAL DATA

• The scale has weighing and calculating water and body fat percentage function, to do this you must first input sex, age and height data. The scale has a memory with capacity for 10 people.
• To input the data; – Put your feet equally on your scale without any movement and and wait for the display shows “0.0”.
• Then press “SET” and select, one of the user numbers between 1 and 10.
• The symbol of man or woman will appear flashing, select appropriate one and press “SET”.
• With the “ ” or ” ” buttons, set age and press “SET” to memorize.
• Lastly, using “ ” or ” ” buttons define user’s height in centimeters (cm) or feet and inches, depending on what unit you have chosen and press “SET” to save data.
• The data of the first person are already memorized. Wait for the digits “0.0” appear on the screen and then the scale switches off. Repeat all the process for all the users.

OPERATION

• Choose appropriate weight unit by pushing the button at the rear of the scale.
• Place your scale on a hard and flat surface.
• Put your feet equally on your scale without any movement and wait for your weight to be measured without any move.
• When you step on the scale, the “0.0” reading will appear and appliance will be ready for weighting.
• Measured value will be seen on the screen in a very short time thanks to sensitive sensors. Your correct weight will be displayed for example 58,5 (55 kg 500 gr).
• Press “SET” and use the “ ” or ” ” buttons until your memory number appears on the screen. Wait for the digits “0.0” appear on the screen.
• Get on the scale and remain still. First your weigh will appear flashing on the screen .Wait a few seconds. Then, your body fat percentage will be shown next to the symbol “ ” with one of the following indications:
  • UNDERFAT
  • HEALTHY
  • OVERFAT
  • OBESE
• Next, it will appear the water percentage with the symbol ” ”.Both percentages and the weight result will vary and next the scale switches off. The adjoined tables will give an orientation of the water and body fat percentages.
• The water and body fat percentages belong to some standard parameters and are shown in the display as result of the inserted data and the weight result.
• When you step back from the scale, it will automatically shut off in 10 seconds.

INDICATORS

• The “EEEE” message will appear on the display when overload (150 kg and above) is put on your scale.
• The “Err” message will appear on the display when there is a mistake with the results of fat or water.
• When it is necessary to replace the battery, the “Lo” message will appear on the display. In this case, remove the battery and place a new battery. Once the battery is placed “+” indication must be visible.

REPLACING THE LITHIUM BATTERY

• Open the battery section and remove the battery carefully from the battery section. When doing this, do not bend back the electrode, or they may break. Dispose the old battery to the proper garbage collection point.
• Inserting the new battery: Place one side of the new battery under the electrode and press the other side into the slot from the knob side
• Pulling the electrode cover strongly may cause breaking or losing its flexibility during the battery replacement process.

HANDLING AND SHIPMENT

• During handling and shipment, your appliance must be kept in original package in order to prevent damages to its parts.
• Keep at normal position during shipment.
• Do not drop the product when transporting and protect from impacts.
• After delivery of the product, failures and damages that may occur while transporting are not covered by warranty.

The product is in compliance with the EEE Directives.
