Thank you for choosing this product. Please read and follow the instructions carefully. They inform you about all the important steps concerning assembly and handling.
We recommend you to keep them for future reference.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

A. GENERAL

  • The stand should be visually inspected before and after use.
  • Damaged or incomplete stands should not be used or only used after repair. A. – Please ensure that the floor is suitable, i.e. level and stable
  • The thread points d.3 can cause injuries. Utmost caution is required during installation and handling. We recommend to wear protective gloves
  • Keep unauthorized persons away
  • Observe the instruction manual and keep it for future reference

B. MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS

  • Handle base tubes, tube combination and bearing plate with care and B. – do not drop (risk of crushing, damage to the floor, etc.)
  • Make sure that the screw connections are tight (base, tubes, bearing plate)

C. LOAD-BEARING CAPACITY

  • The max. load capacity of 35 kg applies exclusively to loads which act exactly vertically on the tube combination.
  • This is NOT given..
  • a. …with off-centre loads, i.e. the centre of gravity of the load is not directly above the tube combination,
  • b. …when the stand is at an angle (e.g. when the floor is inclined or if the base tube is screwed loosely) as well as
  • c. …in case of external influences and disturbances (tugging on the stand, shocks from passers-by, wind forces, vibrations, etc.)
This creates TILTING hazards which significantly reduce the specified load- bearing capacity of max. 35 kg.

D. EXTENDING/RETRACTING THE LOAD

  • Before extending/retracting, the monitor must be removed from the bearing D. – plate.

  • Directly screwed monitors can remain if you observe the following procedure
This should be always carried out by two competent persons (P1, P2)D.

    • D. – P1: holds the extension tube together with the load firmly and securely; D.
    • P2: secures the selected height by engaging the safety hook 4.5 and tightening the clamping screw 4.6.

E. DISASSEMBLY

  •  Always lift the load from the stand first – only then start retracting or E. – dismantling the stand.
  • Handle and store components with care.

USER INSTRUCTIONS / FUNCTIONS

ATTACHING THE LOAD / HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
ATTENTION!

  • Do not underestimate the weight of the speaker.
  • The attachment as well as the extension/retraction of the load should be carried out by competent, i.e. technically and physically suitable personnel.
  • Attentiveness and communication between the operators is essential .
  • We strongly recommend first removing the monitor, then adjust and secure the height.
  • The monitor is then reattached.
  • If the monitor should remain on the stand, the extension and retraction must be carried out by at least two competent persons (P1, P2).
  • It is valid:
    • P1 holds and moves the loaded extension tube 4.2 / 4.5
    • P2 handles the securing elements
    • P2 safety hook 4.3 / 4.4 and wing nut 4.1 / 4.6
  • Always hold the extension tube with a firm grip during height adjustment 4.2 and at the same time be ready to tighten the wing nut 4.6 immediately (e.g. in case of unintentional slipping of the extension)

EXTENDING

  1. Slightly loosen the wing nut Of the tension clamp a.5
  2. Lift the extension tube a.6, whereby
  3. the safety hook automatically unlocks (and remains in unlocked position).
  4. The safety hook must be actively pushed into the recess Of the extension tube.
  5. As soon as the hook is immersed, the tube is lowered by 2 mm, thus preventing an untended disengaging Of the safety hook.
  6. Retighten the wing nut.

 RETRACTION

  1. Slightly loosen the wing nut Of the tension clamp a.5.
  2. First, lift the extension tube a.6 a little
  3. whereby the safety unW<s
  4. Subsequently, retract the extension tube and.
  5. push the safety hook back into the recess and let it hook into the extension tube.
  6. Retighten the wing nut.

CABLE ROUTING

The “open” design of the stand makes it possible to insert a cable into the tube.

PLACE & DIMENSIONS

  • a Base tube bottom a (8 mm from the ground) b Extension protection
  • b (ø 24 mm-Hole)
  • c Extension tube top c (19 x 24 mm)

DIMENSIONS

CHECK, MAINTENANCE, CLEANING

  • Careful handling of the extension tube maintains the telescoping, the load capacity and safety of the installation.
  • During maintenance work – always in unloaded condition – pay attention for possible hazards (jamming, bumping, tipping over).
  • For cleaning and maintenance, use a slightly damp cloth and a non-abrasive cleaning agent.

FAULT-FINDING (F) and REPAIR (R)

  • F: Stand wobbles:
    • R: Check if floor is level.
    • R: Check base tube, discs a.1, 2, 3 and leg tubes b for levelness.
    • R: Check tightness of the screws on the three leg tubes as well as
    • R: on the tension clamp and retighten, if necessary.
  • F: Extension tube a.6 retracts unintentionally:
    • R: Press safety hook into recess and tighten wing nut (4.4-4.6).
  • Monitor wobbles/sits crooked:
    • R: Ensure that the stand is placed on a level floor.
    • R: Check if the threaded connections of the stand (1. leg tubes – base tube,
    • R: 2. tension clamp, 3. extension tube – bearing plate) are firmly tightened.
    • R: Optimize supports d.1, i.e. ensure correct position and quantity (pcs. 4).
    • R: Ensure suitability of the monitor in terms of shape and size.
    • R: Always align the center of gravity of the monitor centrally to the bearing plate.
