Gm van door switch needs to be isolated to insure that fac-tory door switches are dead when the vehicle is off. Factory door switches will only work with a remote or when key is in and turned to on positionCARGO-VAN-LOCKS-GM-Door-

Installation Instruction

  1. Remove GM Door Panel with 7-millimeter socketCARGO-VAN-LOCKS-GM-Door-Switch-Isolation-fig-3
  2. Green Wire is Ignition off window switchCARGO-VAN-LOCKS-GM-Door-Switch-Isolation-fig-4
  3. Trim Green wire CARGO-VAN-LOCKS-GM-Door-Switch-Isolation-fig-5
  4. Solder White (off) wire from the relay to Green wire on win-dow switch ( ignition).CARGO-VAN-LOCKS-GM-Door-Switch-Isolation-fig-6
  5. Ground off lock switch wire. The lower ground wire from the factory lock switchCARGO-VAN-LOCKS-GM-Door-Switch-Isolation-fig-6
  6. Cut (lower) Black ground wire in half and strip both endsCARGO-VAN-LOCKS-GM-Door-Switch-Isolation-fig-7
