CARGO VAN LOCKS GM Door Switch Isolation
GM Door Switch Isolation Instructions
Gm van door switch needs to be isolated to insure that fac-tory door switches
are dead when the vehicle is off. Factory door switches will only work with a
remote or when key is in and turned to on position
Installation Instruction
- Remove GM Door Panel with 7-millimeter socket
- Green Wire is Ignition off window switch
- Trim Green wire
- Solder White (off) wire from the relay to Green wire on win-dow switch ( ignition).
- Ground off lock switch wire. The lower ground wire from the factory lock switch
- Cut (lower) Black ground wire in half and strip both ends
- Yellow relay wire to Black on the switch side
- Black and Blue from relay towards the vehicle
- Solder and tape all connections
- Position relay under window switch and tape in place
