Safety Instructions
- Installation and removal of the unit and its accessories should be done by qualified personnel.
- Read all safety instructions carefully before installation and operation.
Installation
- This device is classified as a Class A product and may cause radio interference. Take necessary measures if interference occurs.
- Purchase recommended accessories for your installation.
- Ensure that the camera operates within the specified temperature and humidity range. Protect it from excessive pressure, vibration, moisture, dust, and electromagnetic radiation.
- Use a power adapter or a Power over Ethernet (PoE) device that meets the requirements to prevent damage to the camera.
- Avoid using excessively long power cables as they may lower the camera’s voltage, leading to abnormal camera operation. If needed, lengthen the cable between the power adapter and the mains.
- Do not hold the tail cable by hand for weight bearing, as it may loosen the cable connector of the camera.
- When connecting to an external interface, use a connection terminal in good condition. Ensure that the cable is not tense during mounting to avoid poor port contact or loosening due to shock or shake.
- Protect the connectors of the tail cable from exposure. Seal the bar cavity, waterproof box, corrugated pipe, or PVC pipe to prevent water damage.
Maintenance
- Caution: Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced with an incorrect type. Dispose of used batteries according to the instructions.
- If there is dust on the transparent dome cover, gently remove it using an oil-free brush or a rubber dust-blowing ball.
- If there is grease or a dust stain on the transparent dome cover, clean it gently from the center outward using a lens cleaning cloth. If the grease or stain persists, use a lens cleaning cloth dipped with detergent to remove it.
- Avoid using organic solvents like benzene or ethanol when cleaning the transparent dome cover.
- Ensure that the lens cleaning cloth itself is clean before use.
- Avoid looking at the transmitted laser while the power is on. Do not directly look at the fiber ports and fiber cable ends when they are powered on to prevent any harm.
- Only use controls and adjustments specified in the user manual. Using other procedures may result in hazardous laser emissions.
