Product Information

The Gobi Heat Hammock is a heated hammock designed and shipped from Colorado. It comes with a battery-powered heating system that provides warmth and comfort during outdoor activities. The hammock is made with high-quality materials and is designed for durability and performance. It has multiple heat settings and a unidirectional suspension system for maximum comfort and safety.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Locate the battery pocket near the center of the hammock.
2. Attach the battery to the cable inside the pocket, place the battery inside the pocket, and zip it closed.
3. To turn on the heating system, press and hold the power button for 5 seconds or until the light turns on. Press the button once to switch through the different heat settings. Press and hold for 5 seconds to power off the product.
4. Before washing, remove the battery from the heated hammock and replace the protective cap on the cable. Place the cable back in the pocket, ensuring it is not pinched. Zip the battery pocket closed. Hand wash the hammock and lay it flat to dry.
5. To set up the hammock, find two living, mature trees or anchor points approximately 10-14 feet (3-4 meters) apart. Attach carabiners to the straps, making sure they click into the closed position.
6. Achieve a hanging height of 18 inches (45cm) by gently lowering yourself into the hammock and adjusting as needed.
7. Loop the straps around trees at least 5 feet (1.5 meters) from the ground, threading the adjustable end through the webbing end with a single loop. Attach carabiners to the straps, ensuring they click into the closed position.
8. For maximum comfort, do not hang the hammock too tight. Position yourself at an angle to lay flat.
9. For safety, follow all guidelines provided for setting up the hammock and using the suspension system. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in serious injury or death.
10. If you experience uncomfortable tingling heat or redness on the skin, turn off the device immediately and stop using it. Read the safety information carefully before first use.

Warranty: The Gobi Heat Hammock comes with a 1-year warranty for defects in material and workmanship. The warranty period starts from the date the product ships from Gobi Heat. The batteries are covered by a 90-day warranty.

HARNESS THE HEAT OF THE DESERT

1. Locate the battery pocket found near the center of the hammock.

BATTERY CARE

• Fully charge and discharge the battery every 3 – 6 months
• Only use Gobi Heat batteries with your product.
• Discontinue use if your battery becomes damaged, dropped, tampered with or otherwise compromised.
• When traveling with your battery, pack battery into carry-on luggage not checked luggage.
• Do not dispose of battery in trash. Please use proper recycling.

Gobi Heat Hammocks work best with suspension systems. Carefully follow the instructions provided. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in serious injury or death.

1. Find two living, mature trees or anchor points approx. 10-14 feet (3-4 meters) apart that can safely support the hammock.

2. Attach carabiners to straps making sure each carabiner clicks into the closed position.

3. Achieve a hanging height of 18” (45cm) by gently lowering yourself into the hammock to determine if any adjustments are needed.

GOBI HEAT ® SUSPENSION SET UP

The Gobi Heat Suspension System is a unidirectional design which needs to be setup properly for maximum performance and durability.
Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in serious injury or death

1. Loop straps around trees
   at least 5 feet (1.5 meters) from the ground, threading the adjustable end through webbing end with single loop.

Attach carabiners to straps making sure each carabiner clicks into the closed position.

2. For maximum comfort don’t hang your hammock too tight. Position yourself at an angle to lay flat.

AVOIDING ACCIDENTS

• Never hang your hammock higher than 18 inches off the ground.
• Always follow provided instructions and read safety warnings.
• Before hanging your hammock, check the ground beneath it to make sure there isn’t rocks, sharp objects or any other debris that could pose a hazard in case of fall.
• Always test the hammock to ensure it is hung correctly before putting your full weight into it.
• When selecting your trees or anchor points, for your hammock, be sure to select stable anchor points and/or strong, live trees.
• Inspect your hammock prior to each use to check for tears, rips or any damage that may compromise the safety of the hammock.
• When not in use, store your hammock in a clean/dry space.
• At no time should children or pets be allowed to use the hammock.
• Do not jump or swing aggressively in your hammock.
• Do not stack hammocks.
• Do not modify your hammock.
• Failure to adhere to these instructions/guidelines may result in serious injury or death.
• Keep your hammock out of direct UV light to avoid damage and fading.
• Do not leave your hammock unattended.
• Keep sharp objects away from your hammock.

• Never use if inner lining is wet.
• Heating elements should not be allowed to touch bare skin.
• Shut off power immediately if discomfort occurs.
• Do not allow the wires in the product to be pinched.
• Discontinue use of this product if it stops working correctly or heats inconsistently.
• Remove the battery pack from the battery pocket before washing. Be sure to secure the connector into the battery pocket before washing.
• Do not dry clean. Do not use dry-cleaning fluid on this item. Do not bleach. Cleaning solvents may have a detrimental effect on the insulation of the heating elements.
• Do not iron.
• Do not remove sewn in labels. These carry important information.
• The device may interfere with other electronic devices such as pacemakers and more. Consult with your doctor before use.
• Do not use if you have impaired temperature sensitivity. Consult with your doctor before use.
• Keep the product out of the reach of children, as it contains small parts which could be easily swallowed.
• Always turn off the device and disconnect the batteries when it is not in use.
• This item should be serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts.

Gobi Heat stands behind its products. Each of our products is warrantied to be free from defect of material and workmanship for one (1) year. This year is calculated from the date the product ships from Gobi Heat.
Our batteries are warrantied for ninety (90 days).

This warranty is offered only to the original purchaser and is non- transferable. The purchaser is responsible for the cost of returning the product to Gobi Heat. After our examination determines the product is indeed defective, we will repair or replace said product and reimburse shipping costs (up to $15 USD). This warranty does not extend to damage resulting from repairs attempted by anyone other than Gobi Heat. Furthermore, the warranty does not apply if it is determined that the product has been altered, abused or used in a manner for which it is not intended.
