SUNCO LIGHTING LED Flood Light
Product Information
The LED Flood Lights are a type of luminaire that provides powerful and energy-efficient lighting. These flood lights are designed for outdoor use and are commonly used for illuminating large areas such as gardens, driveways, and sports fields. The lights come with a heavy-duty XC1 cover for added durability and protection against harsh weather conditions.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before installation, it is important to find a qualified electrician to ensure proper installation and safety.
- Read the instructions provided in the user manual before installing and using the luminaire.
- Warning: To prevent the risk of fire or electrical shock, always disconnect power before installing or servicing the flood lights.
- Caution: To avoid any injuries, follow the recommended precautions and operating instructions.
- Arm Mounting:
- Seal the arm thread using teflon tape or silicone sealant.
- Secure the LED Flood to a 1/2” NPS hole in a junction box or landscape post. Make sure to use the provided heavy-duty XC1 cover.
- Plug all unused holes and seal threads with silicone depending on the mounting location.
- Standard Wiring:
- For fixtures with a universal voltage driver, connect the black fixture lead to the (+) LINE supply lead.
- Connect the white fixture lead to the (-) COMMON supply lead.
- Connect the GROUND wire from the fixture to the supply ground.
- Cleaning & Maintenance:
- Ensure the fixture temperature is cool enough to touch before cleaning or maintaining it.
- Clean the lens and fixture using a non-abrasive glass cleaning solution.
- Do not open the fixture to clean the LED and avoid touching theLED directly.
- Troubleshooting:
- Check that the line voltage at the fixture is correct. Refer to the wiring directions for guidance.
- Ensure the fixture is properly grounded.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING, CAUTIONS AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
- To reduce the risk of death, personal injury or property damage from fire, electrical shock, falling parts, cuts/abrasions, and other hazards read all warnings and instructions included with and on the fixture box and all fixture labels.
- Before installing, servicing, or performing routine maintenance upon this equipment, follow these general precautions.
- Commercial installation, service and maintenance of luminaries should be performed by a qualified licensed electrician.
- For the installation: If you are unsure about the installation or maintenance of luminaries, consult a qualified licensed electrician and check your local electrical code.
- To prevent wiring damage or abrasion, do not expose wiring to edges of sheet metal or other objects.
- Do not make or alter any holes in an enclosure of wiring or electrical components during kit installation.
WARNING: RISK OF FIRE OR ELECTRICAL SHOCK
- Turn off electrical power at fuse or circuit breaker box before wiring fixture to the power supply.
- Turn off the power when you perform any maintenance.
- Verify that supply voltage is correct by comparing it with the luminaire label information.
- Make all electrical and grounded connections in accordance with the National Electrical Code and any applicable local code requirements.
- All wiring connections should be capped with UL approved wire connectors.
CAUTION: RISK OF INJURY
- Avoid direct eye exposure to the light source while it is on.
- Account for small parts and destroy packing material, as these may be hazardous to children.
- Suitable for Wet locations, IP65.
WARNING DISCONNECT POWER BEFORE INSTALLING OR SERVICING.
ARM MOUNTING
- Seal arm thread using teflon tape or silicone sealant.
- Secure the LED Flood to a 1/2’’ NPS hole in a junction box or landscape post. Heavy duty XC1 cover provided.
- Plug all unused holes and seal threads with silicone.
- The swivel arm on the LED Flood allows 180° vertical aiming adjustment depending on mounting location.
STANDARD WIRING
Universal voltage driver permits operation at 120V to 277VAC, 50 or 60 Hz except fixtures factory ordered with a (PC)
- Connect the black fixture lead to the (+) LINE supply lead.
- Connect the white fixture lead to the (-) COMMON supply lead.
- Connect the GROUND wire from fixture to supply ground.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
CAUTION: Be sure fixture temperature is cool enough to touch. Do not clean or maintain while fixture is energized.
- Clean lens & fixture with non-abrasive glass cleaning solution.
- Do not open fixture to clean the LED. Do not touch the LED.
TROUBLESHOOTING
- Check that the line voltage at fixture is correct. Refer to wiring directions.
- Is the fixture grounded properly?
