Refrigerator Control
To adjust the temperature of the refrigerator, follow these steps:
- Press the “Refrigerator Temp” button to view the current set point.
- Press the “Refrigerator Temp” button again to adjust the set point.
- The setting will increase by 1 bar with each press of the button, returning to 1 bar after reaching 5.
- After 2 minutes of inactivity, any changes will be saved and the display will return to the home screen.
Freezer Control
To adjust the temperature of the freezer, follow these steps:
- Press the “Freezer Temp” button to view the current set point.
- Press the “Freezer Temp” button again to adjust the set point.
- The setting will increase by 1 bar with each press of the button, returning to 1 bar after reaching 5.
Dispenser Light
The dispenser light automatically turns on when using the dispenser. If you want the light to be on continuously, press the “Light” button. To turn off the dispenser light, press the “Light” button again. If the dispenser lights are not working, refer to the online Troubleshooting guide for further assistance.
Dispenser Lock
The dispenser lock feature allows you to turn off the dispenser controls and lever for easy cleaning or to prevent unintentional dispensing by small children and pets. To lock the dispenser, press and hold the “Lock” button for 3 seconds. To unlock the dispenser, press and hold the “Light” button a second time. Note that the lock feature does not shut off power to the refrigerator, ice maker, or dispenser light. To turn off the ice maker, refer to the Ice Maker and Storage Bin section in the Owner’s Manual.
Initial Setup
When you first install the refrigerator, ensure that both the refrigerator and freezer controls are set to the mid-setting with three illuminated bars. Wait 24 hours before placing food into the refrigerator to allow it to cool completely and prevent food spoilage. Adjusting the set points to a colder- than-recommended setting will not cool the compartments any faster. If you experience temperature issues, check the air vents for proper airflow.
Product Usage Instructions
- Read the IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS in the Owner’s Manual before operating the refrigerator.
- Ensure proper installation according to the Owner’s Manual.
- To adjust the refrigerator temperature, press “Refrigerator Temp” to view the current set point, then press it again to adjust. The setting will increase by 1 bar with each press.
- To adjust the freezer temperature, press “Freezer Temp” to view the current set point, then press it again to adjust. The setting will increase by 1 bar with each press.
- To activate the dispenser display screen, touch any control button on the dispenser panel.
- To turn on the dispenser light, press “Light”. Press it again to turn off the dispenser light.
- To lock the dispenser controls and lever, press and hold “Lock” for 3 seconds. Press and hold “Light” a second time to unlock.
- During the initial setup, ensure both refrigerator and freezer controls are set to the mid-setting with three illuminated bars.
- Wait 24 hours before placing food in the refrigerator to allow it to cool completely.
- Do not set the temperature colder than recommended as it will not cool the compartments faster.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

persons, read the IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS, located in your appliance’s
Owner’s Manual, before operating this appliance.
IMPORTANT : Before operating this appliance, make sure it has been
properly installed according to the appliance’s Owner’s Manual.
NOTE : The display screen on the dispenser control panel will turn off
automatically and enter “sleep” mode when the control buttons and dispenser
pads have not been used for 2 minutes or more. While in “sleep” mode, the
first press of a control button will only reactivate the display screen
without changing any settings.
Touch any control button on the dispenser panel to activate the display screen. The home screen will appear as shown.
For your convenience, your refrigerator and freezer controls are preset at the factory. When you first install your refrigerator, make sure that both the refrigerator and freezer controls are still set to the “mid-setting.” This will be indicated with three illuminated bars.
IMPORTANT:

Wait 24 hours before you put food into the refrigerator. If you add food before the refrigerator has cooled completely, your food may spoil.
NOTE : Adjusting the set points to a colder-than-recommended setting will not cool the compartments any faster. -
If the temperature is too warm or too cold in the refrigerator or freezer, first check the air vents to be sure they are not blocked before adjusting the controls.

The preset settings should be correct for normal household usage. The controls are set correctly when milk or juice is as cold as you like and when ice cream is firm.

Wait at least 24 hours between adjustments. Recheck the temperatures before other adjustments are made.
TEMPERATURE SET POINTS
The set point range for the refrigerator and freezer is “1 bar” (least cold) to “5 bars” (coldest). When adjusting temperature set points, use the following chart as a guide.

DISPENSER LIGHT
- When you use the dispenser, the light will automatically turn on. If you want the light to be on continuously, you may turn on the light.
- Press Light again to turn off the dispenser light.
- The dispenser lights are LEDs that cannot be changed. If it appears that your dispenser lights are not working, see online “Troubleshooting” for more information.
DISPENSER LOCK
The dispenser can be turned off for easy cleaning or to avoid unintentional
dispensing by small children and pets.
NOTE : The lock feature does not shut off power to the refrigerator, to
the ice maker, or to the dispenser light. It simply deactivates the controls
and dispenser lever. To turn off the ice maker, see the “Ice Maker and Storage
Bin” section in the Owner’s Manual.
- Press and hold Lock for 3 seconds to lock the dispenser.
- Press and hold Light a second time to unlock the dispenser. The display screen indicates when the dispenser is locked.
