Hello!
Meet Luna the unicorn who loves to light up and talk about colors, but she needs you to sew her together. Let’s begin!

Materials Included

Sewing Bastes

Before you start, let’s learn basic sewing techniques.

1. Threading the Needle
2. Pull a length of thread that’s about twice the length of your arm.
3. Trim the thread at an angle.
4. Insert the thread through the eye of the needle.
5. Then, pull and bring the two ends of the thread together.
6. Knotting the Thread
7. Hold onto the ends of your thread with two fingers.
8. Place the eye of the needle between the same fingers so you’re holding both the thread and the needle.
9. Grab the thread coming from the cut end. Wrap it around the needle two times.
10. Pull the thread so the spiral moves down to your fingers and pinch.
11. Continue to pinch the spiral and eye of the needle. Then with your other hand, gently pull the needle up.
12. As you pull, hold on to the knot and guide it away from the needle. Now you’ve formed a knot.
13. Sewing a Running Stitch
14. Insert the needle up through the first hole at the beginning of your seam.
15. Insert the needle down through the second hole (about ½” away).
16. Insert the needle up again through the third hole (about ½” away).
17. Repeat the steps until you reach the end of the seam.
18. Ending a Stitch
19. Put the needle next to the end of the thread.
20. Grab the thread and wrap the needle three times.
21. Pull the thread backward to make it tight.
22. Pull the needle out while holding the special.
23. Tighten the thread.
24. Trim the excess thread.

Create your Own Unicorn

1. Sew the Eyes, Nose, Ears & Decorations

2. Purple Thread – 40 cm
   Take one of the eye cutouts and match it to the eye holes on the fuzzy side of the left fabric body piece. Use the purple thread to sew the eyes.

3. Pink Thread – 60 cm
   Put one nose cutout on the same body, then use a pink thread to sew it in place following the numbers above.

4. White Thread – 40 cm
   Take an ear and fold it in half a long way and match it to the two holes at the top of the head. Use a white thread to sew the ear.

5. Yellow Thread – 60 cm
   Use the yellow thread to sew two musical notes on the unicorn’s body. Sew each music note one at a time as shown above.
   Take the right fabric body piece and repeat steps 1 to 4.

6. Sew the Yellow Star
   Yellow Thread – 60 cm
   On the left fabric body piece, use the yellow thread to sew the star.

7. Sew the star following the number order from 1-10.

8. Sew back to 1. Then continue to sew the star following the number order from 10-2.

9. Sew the Pink Heart
   Pink Thread – 60 cm
   On the right fabric body piece, use the pink thread to sew the heart.

10. Sew the star following the number order from 1-10.

11. Sew back to 1. Then continue to sew the heart following the number order from 10-2.

12. Sew and Build the Legs

13. Yellow Thread – 60 cm
    Put a button cutout on top of the fuzzy side of a fabric leg piece and use the yellow thread to sew it as shown above.

14. Pink Thread – 240 cm
    Take another fabric leg piece and put them together with the fuzzy side out. Sew the two legs together using the pink thread as shown above.

15. When halfway through, insert plastic leg support and finish sewing the leg together.

16. White Thread – 240 cm
    When done, use the white thread to sew between the pink stitches. Sew the entire leg.

17. Repeat the steps above to finish all four legs.

18. Sew the Mane

19. Take the four felt mane pieces and arrange them in the order shown above.

20. Purple Thread – 60 cm
    Use the purple thread to sew the inner holes of the pieces together, from the top to the bottom of the mane.

21. Sew the Tail

22. Take the four felt tailpieces and arrange them in the order shown above.

23. Purple Thread – 60 cm
    Use the purple thread to sew the inner holes of the pieces together, from the top to the bottom of the tail.

24. Attach the Mane and Tail Onto the Body

25. Pink Thread – 130 cm
    Insert the mane between the completed fabric body pieces following the numbers shown above. Use the pink thread to sew it in place from the top to the bottom of the mane.

26. Insert the tail between the completed fabric body pieces following the numbers shown above. Use the pink thread to sew it in place from the top to the bottom of the tail.

27. Attach the Fabric Body Pieces

28. On each side of the electronics kit, stick on three pieces of double-sided tape as shown above.

29. Stick the plush inserts on each side of the electronics kit.

30. Insert the electronics kit inside the fabric body pieces.

31. Finish Sewing the Body

32. Pink Thread – 100 cm
    Sew the remaining part of the body using a pink thread.

33. White Thread – 100 cm/White Thread – 130 cm
    When done, use the white thread to sew between the pink stitches. Sew the entire body.

34. Attach the Legs

Attach all four legs to the unicorn as shown above.
