Safety instructions
Please carefully read the instructions before using your appliance for the first time. Any use that does not conform to the following instructions does not hold Mienta accountable and cancels your product’s warranty.
- Keep these instructions, warranty card, purchase receipt, and, if possible, the box, together with the inner packaging.
- This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Children should not be allowed to play with the appliance.
- This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
- Make sure that the voltage rating of your appliance is compatible with that of your household’s electrical supply.
- This appliance matches the current security directives.
- Any connection error cancels the appliance’s warranty.
- This appliance has been designed for domestic use only. Any commercial use, misuse, or failure to conform to the instructions cancels the warranty and frees Mienta from all responsibility.
- Keep the appliance on flat, stable and heat-resisting surfaces only.
- Distance the appliance from water splashes.
- Never use this appliance if it is not working properly or presents signs of damage
- Never put the machine, the power cord or the plug into water or any other liquid.
- Never leave the power cord near a source of heat or over sharp edges.
- Do not use the appliance if the power cord or the plug is damaged. To avoid accidents, they must be replaced at an authorized Mienta service center.
- Do not use the appliance if the blade, the container or the lid is damaged.
- For your own safety, only use the spare parts and accessories that are original and suitable for your appliance.
- In such cases, directly contact an authorized Mienta service center.
- Any intervention other than cleaning and normal maintenance must be carried out by an approved Mienta service center.
- Unplug the appliance as soon as you stop using it, before assembly and disassembly, and during the cleaning process.
- Never touch any rotating or moving parts while still in motion; always wait for them to stop.
- Never use this appliance to mix or stir anything other than food. Use this appliance only for its intended purpose.
- The blades are very sharp. Take care when handling them, while emptying the bowl, or during the cleaning process. Misuse of your appliance can result in injury.
- Do not use outdoors.
Before using your appliance, you must familiarize yourself with the components of your appliance. Every letter corresponds to one of the components of your appliance.
Components

- Milkshake accessory
- Graduated bowl
Before the first use
- Clean the bowl, the bowl cover, the blades, and the shaker accessory using warm water with dishwashing liquid. You may put them in the dishwasher.
- For the motor unit, use a damp cloth to wipe it. Do not wash it in water or pass it under running water.
Using your appliance
- Take the motor base (A) and the bowl cover (C) off and put the graduated bowl (G) onto a stable, dry, and clean working surface. Make sure the appliance is not connected to the power supply before you start.
- Make sure that the blade (D or E) is correctly positioned on the spindle in the middle of the container. Fill the container with the desired food to chop. Do not overfill the bowl (maximum: 0.5 liters). For best results, you must cut the food into smaller pieces.NB: Depending on your recipe. you may use the standard blade or the Mouloukhia blade (see the Mouloukhia blade section below).
- Fit the bowl cover (C) in place. The appliance will not work if the bowl cover is not fitted correctly.
- Place the motor base (A) onto the covered bowl and connect the appliance to a wall socket. You may then press the start button (B). Please note that a mild press will operate at speed 1 while a stronger press will operate at speed 2. To stop the operation, release the pressure off the start button and the appliance will stop.
- In the case of wet or damp food, it is best to press briefly several times to get the best results.
- Always take the plug out of the socket before removing the motor base.
- Take out the blade (D or E) before emptying the container. Beware: the blade is very sharp and can cause serious injury. Kindly exercise caution when handling it.
Speeds
This mini-chopper operates as described above in 2 speeds. Depending on the
type of food, you may choose to run on speed 1 or speed 2.
- For speed 1 (Low): gentle pressure.
- For speed 2 (High): firm pressure.
NB: When mixing liquids. never exceed the level of 0.4 liters.
This may cause some spilling. For your convenience, Mienta has prepared the
below table to help you obtain the best results from your appliance. The
weights and speeds are mere suggestions. You may choose to follow them or not,
according to your own taste.
note: Use the Mouloukhia blade (green)
Using the shaker accessory for blending function
- Fit the blade (D) on the spindle in the bowl (G).
- Take the milkshake accessory (F) and fit it on the blade (D), pour in the ingredients, and lock the bowl cover (C) in its place.
- Place the motor base (A) on the assembly and operate as previously instructed.
NB : Remember to remove the milkshake accessory (F) to chop.
Using your Mouloukhia blade (green)
The Mouloukhia blade is specially designed in order to optimize the chopping
of Mouloukhia leaves. Its serrated blades ensure a smooth chopping of the
leaves without mashing them, resulting in a perfect texture. Fit the blade (E)
on the spindle in the bowl (G). Pour in the green Mouloukhia leaves and lock
the bowl cover (C) in its place. Place the motor base (A) on the assembly and
operate in short pulses for optimal results.
Helpful hints
- The appliance has a safety contact, which prevents it from turning ON if the lid or the motor base is not positioned correctly.
- The appliance is not suitable for chopping hard ingredients such as coffee beans, ice, or frozen food.
- PJways insert the blade before filling in the food.
- If the blade turns heavily, or it doesn’t reach its speed within a few seconds, unplug the appliance and check whether there is any obstruction in the bowl, and remove it.
- (you can take out part of the food from the bowl before continuing).
Instruction Manual
- Check whether the blade is positioned correctly and can move freely.
- If necessary, push the damp food back into the middle of the bowl using a spoon or a similar object. Do not use your fingers under any circumstance.
- Do not overfill the bowl.
- Do not let the appliance run on empty.
Cleaning and maintenance
- The motor must not be immersed in water or any other liquid. Wipe it with a slightly damp cloth, if necessary. You could use a little washing liquid.
- Never use any abrasive cleaning agents or a sponge with a rough surface for cleaning.
- Wash the bowl, the bowl cover, the blades, and the milkshake accessory in warm water with a little washing liquid. You may wash them in the dishwasher.
- Leave the parts to dry completely, before assembling the appliance again.
- Due to the processing of hard food, the container may become dull or discolored in the course of time. This is normal and does not interfere with its functionality.
Troubleshooting
If your appliance is not working, check that:
- It is correctly plugged into the wall socket.
- The attachments are inserted correctly.
- The bowl cover is fitted correctly and the motor base fits well on the assembly.
- The blade(s) is well fitted in place.
If your appliance still doesn’t work, contact a Mienta-approved service center.
DISPOSAL OF THE APPLIANCE AND ITS PACKING MATERIALS
The packaging is comprised exclusively of materials that present no danger to
the environment and which may therefore be disposed of in accordance with the
recycling measures in force in your area. For disposal of the appliance
itself, please contact the appropriate service of your local authority.
CORRECT DISPOSAL OF THIS PRODUCT
This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed of with other
household wastes throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the
environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle ii
responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. To return
your used device, please use the return and collection systems or contact the
retailer where the product was purchased. They can take this product for
environmentally safe recycling.
