Product Information – Digital Atomic Wall Clock

The Digital Atomic Wall Clock (Model: W79752) is a highly accurate and reliable clock that automatically synchronizes with the atomic time signal. It also features an outdoor sensor (TX141) that provides temperature readings. The clock operates on 2-AA
batteries, while the outdoor sensor requires 2-AA batteries.

The clock displays atomic time at UTC 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00. It has a Settings Menu that allows you to adjust various settings, including time zone, language, daylight saving time (DST), and more. The clock also has an alarm function and displays
moon phases based on the lunar calendar.

Product Usage Instructions

Power Up

1. Insert 2-AA batteries into the Outdoor Sensor.
2. Insert 2-AA batteries into the Atomic Clock.
3. Enter the Settings Menu to adjust the time and date.
4. Once the sensor is reading on the clock, place the sensor outside in a shaded location.

Settings Menu

1. Hold the SET button to enter the Settings Menu.
2. Use the +/- buttons to adjust values.
3. Press SET to confirm values.
4. Press the SNOOZE button at any time to save and exit.

Time Alarm

1. Hold the ALARM button until the display changes to enter the Alarm Settings.
2. Press and release the +/- buttons to adjust values.
3. Press the ALARM button to confirm and move to the next item.

Moon Phase

The moon phase is automatically determined based on the year, month, and date settings.

Temperature

If you are unable to see outdoor temperature readings, follow these steps:

1. Hold the + (PLUS) button to search for the outdoor sensor. The Reception Indicator will animate.
2. If the sensor is not connected after 3 minutes, bring it inside next to the display and remove power from both the sensor and clock.
3. Press any button on the clock 20 times and leave the parts sit for a few moments with the power off.
4. Install a new set of alkaline batteries into the sensor, then into your clock. For additional help, visit: bit.ly/basic_restart
5. If outdoor data is still not appearing, please contact our support staff for assistance.

Low Battery Indicator

If the clock displays “By the Time,” replace the clock batteries. If it displays “By the Outdoor Temperature,” replace the sensor batteries.

Atomic Time

• The clock will automatically search for the Atomic Time Signal two hours after power up and at UTC 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00.
• The Atomic Time Signal Icon will flash while searching and be solid when it has connected.
• From the normal time display, press the SET button to manually start or stop a search for the WWVB time signal. For information about WWVB visit: bit.ly/AtomicTime.

Settings Menu

1. Hold the SET button to enter the Settings Menu.
2. Use the +/- buttons to adjust values.
3. Press SET to confirm values.
4. Press the SNOOZE button at any time to save and exit.

Settings Menu Order:

• Language (English, Spanish, French)
• Beep ON/OFF
• Atomic ON/OFF
• DST ON AUTOMATIC/ DST ALWAYS OFF / DST ALWAYS ON (Change Spring/Fall) (Standard Time all year) (DST all year)
• Time Zone
• 12/24 Hour Format /TIME ZONE
• Hour: EASTERN
• Minutes: CENTRAL
• Year: MOUNTAIN
• Month: PACIFIC
• Date: ALASKA
• Fahrenheit/Celsius: HAWAII

Language: The language selected will adjust the weekday and month readouts as well as other menu items.
Atomic OFF: When selected, the menu will skip DST and Time Zone settings and move straight to the 12/24 Hour setting.
Weekday: Sets automatically when Year, Month and Date are set.

Time Alarm

Set Alarm

1. Hold the ALARM button until the display changes to enter the Alarm Settings.
2. Press and release the +/- buttons to adjust values.
3. Press the ALARM button to confirm and move to the next item.

Silence a sounding alarm:
Press any button except SNOOZE to silence the alarm for 24 hours.

Activate/Deactivate Alarm:

• Press the ALARM button to activate or deactivate the alarm.
• The Alarm Icon will show when alarm is active.

Snooze:

When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button to silence the alarm for 10 minutes. Zz will show.

Note: The alarm will sound with increasing frequency for two minutes, then shut off automatically if not silenced.

Moon Phase

The moon phase is based on the Lunar Calendar and the year, month, and date settings.

Temperature

Temperature Trend Arrows:
Both the Indoor and Outdoor Temperature have Trend Arrows to indicate temperature changes (2°F / 1°C) over the past one hour period.

If you are seeing NO or dashes for your outdoor readings, please try the following steps:

1. Hold the + (PLUS) button to search for your outdoor sensor. The Reception Indicator will begin to animate.
2. If after 3 minutes the sensor still isn’t connected, bring the sensor inside next to the display and remove power from both the sensor and clock.
3. Press any button on the clock 20 times and leave the parts sit for a few moments with the power off.
4. Install a new set of alkaline batteries into the sensor, then into your clock. For additional help visit: bit.ly/basic_restart
5. If your outdoor data is still not appearing after these steps, please contact our support staff via the link below.

Battery Replacement Instructions
When batteries of different brand or type are used together, or new and old batteries are used together, some batteries may be over-discharged due to a difference of voltage or capacity. This can result in venting, leakage, and rupture and may cause personal injury.

• Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the intended use.
• Always replace the whole set of batteries at one time, taking care not to mix old and new ones, or batteries of different types.
