Thank You for purchasing a CENTEK brand product. We guarantee flawless function of this item, provided the guidelines of its operation are observed.
This appliance is designed for use in domestic and similar applications, in particular:

  • in personnel kitchen zones at stores, offices and industrial facilities;
  • at agricultural farms;
  • by clients at hotels, motels and other residential facilities;
  • in private boarding houses.

PURPOSE OF THE APPLIANCE: designed for foaming and heating milk.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The following requirements should be strictly observed in order to avoid situations hazardous for human life and health, as well as premature failures of the appliance:

  1. Carefully read the present manual prior to operating the appliance. Retain the present manual, cash voucher and appliance packaging.
  2. Use the appliance only for its intended purpose.
  3. This appliance is not designed for commercial applications. Do not use the appliance outdoors.
  4. Do not place the appliance near heat sources, do not expose it to direct sunlight and moisture (do not submerse it in water or other liquids).
  5. Do not touch the appliance with wet hands. In case of ingress of moisture or leakage from the appliance immediately disconnect it from power supply.
  6. Always disconnect the appliance from power supply after use and before cleaning (pull the plug, do not pull it out by the cable).
  7. Do not let children play with the appliance. Do not leave the appliance unattended. Ensure that the power cable is routed in a location inaccessible for children.
  8. Regularly check the appliance and its power cable for damage. Operating a damaged appliance is not allowed.
  9. Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourselves, apply to certified technicians. In case of damage to the power cable have it replaced by the Manufacturer, an authorized service centre or other skilled personnel.
  10. Only the use of original spare parts is allowed.
  11. Install the appliance on a hard, smooth surface, located out of reach of children, to avoid tipping over, damage and injury.
  12. Do not turn the appliance on when it is empty.
  13. The use of attachments other than recommended by the manufacturer or included in the supply can cause ignition, electric shock and physical injury.
  14. Never touch the moving parts of the appliance during operation.
  15. Ensure that the lid is closed and do not open it during operation. Opening the lid during milk heating can cause scalding.
  16. Please be extremely careful when moving the appliance containing hot liquids.
  17. Disconnect the appliance from power supply after use, before cleaning or if any signs of damage are discovered.
  18. Never leave the appliance unattended when it is still hot, even if not connected to power supply. Allow the appliance to fully cool down before cleaning or putting it away for storage.
  19. Special instructions for transportation (shipment) and sale: none.
  20. CAREFUL: accessible surfaces of the appliance can reach high temperature during operation. Do not touch the hot surfaces.
  21. The appliance is not designed to be powered from an external timer or other separate remote control system.

SCOPE OF SUPPLY

BEFORE FIRST USE

  • Clean all parts before first use in accordance with the CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE section. Do not wash the parts in a dishwasher, do not submerge the housing and motor base in water – this can cause damage to the appliance and make the manufacturer’s warranty void.
  • The quantity of milk to be heated or foamed should comply with the requirements indicated in Figure 1.
  • Maximum quantity of milk to be heated (300 ml)
  • Maximum quantity of milk to be foamed (150 ml)
  • Minimum quantity of milk to be heated or foamed (75 ml)

OPERATING PROCEDURE

The appliance can be used for whipping and heating milk, formilk whipping only (without heating) or heating only (withoutwhipping).

  1. Place the appliance on a level surface.

  2. Open the lid; insert the whipping whisk into the shaft at thebottom of the container.

  3. Fill the container with milk in accordance with the maximumand minimum level markings and close the lid.

  4. Install the housing on the motor base and connect the power cord to an electric socket.

  5. Press the FUNCTION button to select one of the following modes: “Warm and high froth”, “Warm and low froth”, “Heating without whipping” and “Cold whipping”. The indicator light of the selected function will turn on.

  6. Press the ON/OFF button to activate the selected function. The appliance will automatically stop when the set temperature is reached or the process is completed.
    NOTE: You may cancel the process at any time by pressing the ON/OFF button again.

  7. When the appliance stops working, open the lid and pour the milk.

  8. Always turn the appliance off and disconnect it from power supply when it is not in use.
    WARNING! Allow the appliance to cool down for at least 3 minutes after each 3 consecutive operating cycles. Otherwise the appliance will automatically lock out after 5 consecutive operating cycles. In this case all indicator lights will flash and no buttons will be active.

  9. After 5 minutes the appliance will switch to standby mode and you will be able to resume operation.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Always disconnect the appliance from power supply and allow it to cool down before cleaning. Never submerge the housing, motor base and power cord in water. Avoid contact of these parts with moisture.

  1. Wash the lid with water and mild detergent. The lid is not suited to being washed in a dishwasher. Thoroughly rinse and wipe dry.
  2. Remove the whisk from the shaft and rinse it with warm water.
  3. Wash the internal surface of the container with water and mild detergent and wipe with a soft damp towel.
  4. Wipe the outer surface of the housing with a soft damp towel. In order to prevent damage to the polished surface, do not use chemicals and abrasive detergents, as well as steel and wood cleaning agents.

DISPOSAL

Upon expiry of its service life the appliance can be disposed ofseparately from ordinary domestic waste. You can turn it overto a specialized electric and electronic appliance disposal and recycling centre.

CERTIFICATION DATA, GUARANTEE

The service life of this item is 5 years since the date of sale to the end user, provided the item will be used in strict accordance with the present manual and the applicable technical standards. Upon expiry of the service life please contact the nearest authorized service centre for suggestions as to further operation of the appliance. The manufacturing date of the appliance is integrated into the serial number (digits 2 and 3 – year, digits 4 and 5 – month of manufacture). If any questions related to appliance maintenance should arise, or if the appliance has malfunctions, apply to the CENTEK TM Authorized Service Center. The guarantee period for all appliances amounts to 12 months since the date of sale to the end consumer. With this Warranty Card the Manufacturer confirms the proper condition of the appliance and undertakes to repair, free of charge, all defects caused by the Manufacturer’s default.
GUARANTEE MAINTENANCE TERMS

  1. The guarantee shall be valid if the following documentation conditions are observed:
    – The original Warranty Card shall be filled out correctly and clearly, indicating the of appliance model, serial number and sale date, the stamp of the seller company and signature of its representative shall be available, as well as the stamps on each coupon and the buyer’s signature in the Warranty Card.
    The Manufacturer reserves the right to reject guarantee maintenance if the buyer fails to provide the abovementioned documents or if the information contained therein is incomplete, illegible or ambiguous.

  2. The guarantee shall be valid if the following operation conditions are observed:
    – the appliance is used in strict accordance with the present manual;
    – the safety rules and requirements are observed.

  3. The guarantee does not apply to regular maintenance, cleaning, installation and setup of the appliance at the owner’s location.

  4. The guarantee does not apply in the following cases:
    – mechanical damage;
    – normal wear of the appliance;
    – non-observance of operation requirements or erroneous actions on the part of the user;
    – improper installation or transportation;
    – natural disasters (lightning, fire, flood, etc.), as well as any other causes beyond the Manufacturer’s or Seller’s control;
    – ingress of foreign objects, liquids or insects into the inside of the appliance;
    – repairs or modifications to the appliance by unauthorized persons;
    – use of the appliance for commercial purposes (loads exceeding normal domestic application), connection of the appliance to utility and telecommunication networks incompliant with national technical standards;
    – failure of the following accessories, if replacement of these is allowed by design and does not involve disassembly of the appliance:
    a) remote control units, rechargeable batteries, replaceable batteries (power cells), external power supply units and chargers;
    b) consumables and accessories (packaging, covers, slings, carry bags, mesh screens, blades, flasks, plates, supports, grilles, spits, hoses, tubes, brushes, nozzles, dust collectors, filters, smell absorbers);
    – for battery-powered appliances – operation with inappropriate or depleted batteries;
    – for rechargeable battery-powered appliances – any damage caused by improper battery charging and recharging.

  5. The present guarantee is provided by the Manufacturer in addition to the consumer rights determined by the applicable legislation and does not limit these rights in any way.

  6. The Manufacturer shall not be made liable for possible damage, directly or indirectly inflicted by CENTEK brand products on people, domestic animals, the consumer’s or third persons’ property if such damage is inflicted as the result of non-observance of appliance installation and operation requirements, deliberate or negligent actions (omission) by the consumer or third persons, as well as of force majeure circumstances.

  7. Service centers will only accept appliances in a clean state (there should be no food residues, dust and other contamination on the appliance).

The Manufacturer reserves the right to change the design and specifications of the appliance without prior notice.
