AKAI ABTS-70 Portable Bluetooth Speaker
Product Information:
The ABTS-70 is a portable Bluetooth speaker that offers various modes of audio playback. It features a built-in rechargeable battery, USB play and power bank feature, micro SD card slot, auxiliary input, and Bluetooth connectivity. With the ability to connect two speakers wirelessly, it provides a versatile audio experience.

Product Usage Instructions:
Charging:
- Use the included USB Charging cable and plug the Micro USB end into the DC 5V port located at the back of the unit. Plug the other end into a USB powered port.
- The battery is fully charged in 6.5 hours. (Charging time will be longer if speaker is being used during charging)
- The red LED light indicates that the unit is charging. The red LED will turn off when the battery is fully charged. The charging cable can then be disconnected.
Auxiliary Play Mode:
- Hold the button to turn on the speaker.
- Connect an audio cable (not supplied) to the 3.5mm audio port at the back of the speaker.
- Connect the other end of the audio cable to the audio source.
- Speaker will go to auxiliary mode automatically (LED will glow solid white).
Bluetooth Play Mode:
- When using a Bluetooth enabled audio device, make sure the distance to the speaker is within 10m. Certain environments may affect the working distance.
- Press and hold the button to turn on the speaker. The unit wil lgive a beeping sound to indicate it is in Bluetooth mode. The LED will rapidly flash white.
- Activate Bluetooth on your audio device.
- Search for new device ABTS-70 then connect it. No password will be required.
- Adjust the volume on your audio device to the desired level.
USB Play Mode:
- Hold the button to turn on the speaker.
- Plug your USB/flash drive into the USB-A port on the speaker.
- Short press button to activate the USB play mode.
- The unit will enter USB play mode automatically.
Micro SD / TF Card Play Mode:
- Hold the button to turn on the speaker.
- Insert the Micro SD card into the SD slot on the speaker.
- Short press button to activate the SD/TF Card play mode.
- The unit will enter Micro SD play mode automatically.
AWS (AKAI Wireless Stereo) Connection:
- Two speakers can be synchronized and connected.
- Hold the button on each speaker to turn both speakers on.
- Press and hold the on both speakers to enter AWS mode.
- You will hear a beep when the two speakers are paired (10 sec).
- The LED on the master speaker will be solid white, while the LED on the second speaker will flash white.
- On your audio device, turn Bluetooth on and follow normal Bluetooth pairing instructions.
Note: Once speakers have been paired via AWS, they will pair again each time they are turned on. If you want to unpair them, press the [unpair button]. The speaker will beep and both LEDs will flash indicating the speakers are no longerpaired.
Troubleshooting:
- Issue: No power
- Possible solution: Check if the battery is fully charged and properly connected. Try charging the speaker using the included USB cable.
- Issue: No sound
- Possible solution: Ensure that the volume is not muted or set too low on both the speaker and the audio source. Check the audio cables for any damage or loose connections. Tryadjusting the volume on the audio source.
- Issue: Sound is distorted
- Possible solution: Make sure that the audio source is not overloading the speaker. Reduce the volume on the audio source or try using a different audio source.

LED Mode Selection

- The unit will enter USB play mode automatically.
Micro SD / TF Card Play Mode
- Hold the button to turn on the speaker.
- Insert the Micro SD card into the SD slot on the speaker.
- Short press button to activate the SD/TF Card play mode.
- The unit will enter Micro SD play mode automatically.
AWS {AKAI Wireless Stereo} Connection

Note

Issue | Possible solution |
---|
No power
|
- Make sure your speaker is turned on and charged.
No sound
|
- Make sure the volume of your speaker is not at the lowest setting.
Make sure the connected audio device is playing audio.
Sound is distorted.| Turn down the volume of the speaker or the connected
device.
Cannot pair the speaker with my Bluetooth device|
- Make sure your device is on Bluetooth mode.
- Your Bluetooth device may be out of range. Try to bring it closer to the speaker.
- Move your Bluetooth device and/or speaker away from other devices that generate electromagnetic interference, such as phones, microwave ovens, wireless network routers, or other Bluetooth devices.
Power Bank Mode
- Use a charging cable that is compatible with your mobile device, making sure it has a USB-A connector on the other end.
- Once you have connected your mobile device to the speaker’s USB-A output, the charge port can provide 5V/1000mAh output.
If your device tries to draw more current than the speaker can output, the
speaker will shut off the USB port for your safety.
The speaker will not charge the mobile device if the power is off.
To prevent the possibility of the battery from leaking, heating or catching fire, please follow these precautions:
Warnings
- Please use supplied USB charging cable to charge speaker.
- Please disconnect charging cable after speaker is fully charged.
- Do not continue to charge speaker after it is fully charged.
- Do not use or leave the speaker near a heat source such as a fire or a heater.
- Do not place speaker in any liquid, fire or on a heater.
- Do not hit or throw the speaker.
Cautions
- Do not use or leave speaker in very high temperatures (i.e. in direct sunlight or in a vehicle in extremely hot conditions)
- Do not use speaker where there is a lot of static electricity, otherwise, the safety devices within the speaker can be damaged.
- The speaker should be stored at room temperature.
- The speaker battery should be charged and discharged often in order to keep it alive.
- When playing music during charging, please put the volume to middle, because for some music with heavy bass, the charger may not be able to afford the high current temporarily under the maximum volume.
- In order to prolong the life of battery, please do not charge it more than 8 hours.
- Please follow battery waste recycling guidelines when disposing of the speaker.
