Product Usage Instructions
- Make sure the downdraft range hood is properly installed and connected to a ducted ventilation system.
- Before using the hood, ensure that the filters are clean and properly installed.
- To start the downdraft system, press the single on/off button.
- Use the slider control to adjust the fan speed according to your needs. Slide it up to increase the speed and down to decrease it.
- While cooking, raise the downdraft range hood by sliding it up from behind the cooktop. This will help in efficient extraction of steam, grease, and odors.
- If necessary, pair the downdraft range hood with Fisher & Paykel’s internal 600CFM blower for quiet and effective extraction.
- After cooking, lower the downdraft range hood back into the countertop to hide it away.
- To clean the filters, remove them and either wash them by hand in hot soapy water or place them in the dishwasher.
- Ensure that the filters are completely dry before reinstalling them.
