Product Usage Instructions

Warranty

• • This portable luminaire is covered by a 12-month warranty valid for in-store replacement or refund only.
  • The warranty period starts from the date of purchase. Please retain the proof of purchase.
  • Warranty will be void if there is any damage due to improper usage or modification to the portable luminaire.
  • Failure to comply with the instructions in this manual may increase the risk of damage or injury and will void the warranty.

Installation Requirements

The lamp comes fully assembled and is ready to use for the first time.

• Select a suitable location for the portable luminaire:
  • Ensure it is on a flat and stable surface.
  • This portable luminaire is suitable for indoor use only.
  • Do not place flammable material near or over the portable luminaire.
  • Ensure the portable luminaire is not installed in direct line of an air vent/system.
  • If the portable luminaire is placed in an area prone to moisture, ensure that the area is well ventilated, and an appropriately rated exhaust fan is used if required. Damage or corrosion caused by moisture is not a product fault, and as such is not covered under warranty.
• Take care not to pull any electrical wires during unpacking as this may damage the connection.
• Lay out all the components on a smooth surface and make sure no components are missing before assembling. If parts are missing, return the complete product to the place of purchase for inspection or replacement.
• Check whether the luminaire has been damaged during transport. Do not operate/install any product which appears damaged in any way. Return the complete product to the place of purchase for inspection, repair or replacement.
• Do not plug into the mains power socket outlet before or during assembly. Only do so after the portable luminaire is fully assembled and is ready to use for the first time.

Touch Switch Operation (3-step dimming mode)

1. The touch switch (E) is set to 3-step dimming mode by default (20% – 50% – 100% – off).
2. The touch switch (E) is setup to 3-step dimming mode by default. (20% → 50% → 100% → off)
3. Press the touch switch (E) once, and the luminaire will turn on and light up at 20% brightness.
4. Press the touch switch (E) a second time, and the luminaire will light up at 50% brightness.
5. Press the touch switch (E) a third time, and the luminaire will light up at 100% brightness.
6. ress the touch switch (E) a fourth time, and the luminaire will turn off.
7. When in 3-step dimming mode, it will only be compatible with the following globe/lamp types:
8. Incandescent globe
9. Halogen globe
10. Dimmable LED lamp

TOUCH SWITCH OPERATION for (ON/OFF mode)
NOTE: The touch switch (E) is setup to 3-step dimming mode by default. To change the touch switch mode to ON/OFF mode, please follow the instructions: “CHANGING THE TOUCH SWITCH MODE” below.

1. When the touch switch (E) is set to ON/OFF mode, press the touch switch (E) to operate the luminaire on or off.
2. When in ON/OFF mode, it will be compatible with the following globe/lamp types:
3. Incandescent globe
4. Halogen globe
5. Dimmable LED lamp
6. Non-dimmable LED lamp
7. 3-step dimmable LED lamp

Changing Touch Switch Mode to ON/OFF Mode

1. Press the touch switch (E) to operate the luminaire on or off.
2. In ON/OFF mode, the lamp is compatible with the following globe/lamp types:
   • Incandescent globe
   • Halogen globe
   • Dimmable LED lamp
   • Non-dimmable LED lamp
   • 3-step dimmable LED lamp
3. Press the touch switch (E) once, to turn on the globe/lamp.
4. Press and hold your finger on the touch switch (E) for approximately 25 seconds. Wait for the globe to flash and turn off before removing your finger from the touch switch (E).
5. After the globe/lamp has flashed and turned off, the touch switch (E) will have now changed the touch switch mode. If the touch switch mode has not changed, try again.

Changing Touch Switch Operation Mode (3-step dimming mode to ON/OFF mode or vice versa)

1. Press the touch switch (E) once to turn on the globe/lamp.
2. Press and hold your finger on the touch switch (E) for approximately 25 seconds.
3. Wait for the globe to flash and turn off before removing your finger from the touch switch (E).
4. After the globe/lamp has flashed and turned off, the touch switch (E) will have changed the touch switch mode.
5. If the touch switch mode has not changed, try again.

Operation of the USB Charger (F)

You can charge your electronic device via the USB-C output (F) on the base of the luminaire. The USB-C output (F) is rated 5V DC 1A. Refer to the instruction manual of your electronic device for the required charging current.

Note: If the charging current of your device exceeds the rated current, the charger will be self-protected. In this case, your device will not charge unless you reconnect it according to the rated output.

Safety Tips

Please read and follow all instructions carefully for correct function and safety. Keep the instructions for future reference.

• Always ensure the power is OFF and the portable luminaire has cooled down before performing any maintenance, cleaning or making any adjustment to the portable luminaire.
• If the external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire is damaged, it shall be exclusively replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
• To avoid injury or damage to the luminaire, ensure that power leads and screws are secure before connecting the power.
• Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the portable luminaire.
• Handle the luminaire and shade with care to avoid any damage or breakage.
• Select a suitable location away from liquids and hazards.
• To clean, wipe with a soft damp cloth. Do NOT soak or immerse the product in water or other liquids.
• Ensure that the luminaire does not come in contact with corrosive chemicals/solvents or abrasive cleaners etc..
