STAR Cord Dimmer Universal
Before use, read through all the instructions and save them tor future use. We reserve the right to any errors in text and images and changes to technical data.

Safety
The installation of electrical components in existing electrical nets must be carried out by a person with the necessary knowledge in accordance with current regulations. New installations may only be carried out by an authorized electrician.
Description
The cord dimmer is a universal dimmer for incandescent and halogen lighting 10-150 W, CFL (low energy) 11-75 W, or LED lighting (4-60 W) Note: Dimmable LED and CFL.
Installation
Warning! Unplug the plug before starting installation.

Loosen the screws (A).

Remove cover (B) and push button (C).

Loosen the screws (D) to the cable grip (E).

Remove the insulation on the wires on the incoming electrical cable (see figure).

Connect the wires on the incoming electrical cable to L and N on the connection terminal on the PCB (F).
Tighten the cable grip (E), it can be reversed and is suitable for different types of cable. -
Connect the outgoing cable to N. Tighten the cable grip (E).

Insert the push-button (C) into the cover (B), make sure the push-button is placed correctly and tighten the screws (A).

Use
On/Of press the push-button (C) quickly (less than a second). Min./Max. hold the push-button in to change the dimming from lighter to darker and vice versa the next time it is pressed. The cord dimmer memorizes the last setting. The memory is retained even if the plug is pulled out.
Note:
When the controller is set to Min., the output is still live i.e. conducting
electricity..
Care and maintenance
Unplug the plug before cleaning. Wipe the product with a slightly damp, soft
cloth.
Use a mild detergent, never a solvent or strong abrasive cleaner.
Waste disposal
This symbol means that the product must not be disposed of with general household waste. This applies across the entire EU. To prevent any harm to the environment or injuries to health caused by improper disposal, the product should be handed in for recycling so that the materials in it can be dealt with responsibly. When you hand the product in for recycling, take it to your local collection facility or contact the retailer. They will ensure that the product is taken care ot in an environmentally satisfactory manner.
