EUHOMY SKUCFL-18 Car Refrigerator - power

Product Safety

  • Do not touch an exposed power cord with your hands.
  • Do not let water touch the power inlet or control panel. This may cause short circuit or danger.
  • When using this product during the travel, please make sure that the power supply lines and fuses have enough carrying current.
  • Make sure the power connection is correct.
  • Do not immerse this product in water.
  • Do not put canned or bottled drinks into the refrigerator for low-temperature freezing.
  • Do not place any electrical equipment in the refrigerator.
  • Only professional personnel are authorized to perform maintenance or service. Or please contact your seller.
  • Do not expose the product to rain or strong sunlight for a long time.
  • After receiving and unpacking the refrigerator, please let it stand on a flat, level surface for at least 6hours before powering it on.

Precautions For Use

  • When using the refrigerator, please place it in a well-ventilated area that is conducive to heat dissipation. In particular, the gap between the cooling vent on the compressor side and other objects must be greater than 3.93inch, so as to prevent heat buildup from causing failure or impairing the refrigeration effect.
  • Do not keep the door open for a long time. Warm air will cause frost to form later and will impair the refrigeration effect.
  • Do not clean the refrigerator by immersing it in water or pouring water over it.
  • Do not use the refrigerator near heat sources as these will reduce the refrigeration performance of the refrigerator.
  • Do not let the refrigerator run for a long time while it is on a steep incline. To do so may affect the service life of the refrigerator and reduce the refrigeration efficiency.
  • Please use the product at an air or room temperature between 32 °F and 113 °F.

Precautions for basic use:

  • Temperature control range: -4 ℉ to 68 ℉ (-20 ℃ to 20 ℃)
  • Temperature display range: -22 ℉ to 104 ℉ (-30 ℃ to 40 ℃)
  • Standard voltage input range: DC 12V/24V, maximum not exceeding DC 30V

Brief Operating Instructions

  1. Refrigerator opening and closing:
Connect the correct DC 12/24V power supply. If the refrigerator is in standby mode, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to complete the startup. After startup, the display will normally display information such as the current temperature and working mode of the compressor. After the startup delay (1 minute preset by the factory), the refrigerator runs in operating mode and the compressor starts refrigeration.

  2.  Control panel locking and unlocking:
If the control panel is locked (the Child Lock icon in the lower right corner of the display is on), press and hold the up arrow and down arrow simultaneously for 2 seconds to release the lock. If the Child Lock icon is not on and there is no operation for 20 seconds, the control panel will automatically enter the locked state.

  3. Refrigerator temperature setting:
When the keyboard is unlocked, press the up arrow or down arrow to adjust the temperature of the refrigerator by 1 degree. (A group of temperature values on the display screen will flicker to display the current setting value.) If you hold either arrow button, you can quickly set the desired temperature value. If there is no change within 5 seconds, the set value will be saved automatically. Press and hold the Settings button for 2 seconds. The temperature indicator will blink. You can
select the temperature unit with the up and down arrow buttons.

  4. Compressor operating mode setting:
When the control panel is unlocked, press the Set button to switch the compressor working mode between Eco and Max. If you need to quickly cool to a lower temperature, switch to the Max mode. If you only need to refrigerate or store items that are already cool, you can set the Eco mode to save power.

  5.  Low voltage-protection function setting:
This product has a low voltage-protection function. When it detects that the battery voltage is lower than the set value, it will automatically turn off the compressor to avoid damaging the battery or preventing the car from starting normally. At this time, the display screen will display code E1. If the voltage returns to normal, the refrigerator will automatically enter its working state within 1 minute. The factory default is M (medium). If you need to change it, please follow these steps:
    a. Unlock the control panel.
    b. Long-press the Set button for 6 seconds. Release it after you hear a beep. Then press the Set button for a short time. At this time, one of the battery protection-level icons (V, V=, V=) on the display will flash. Press the up or down arrow to change the set specific value.

Brief Operating Instructions

Battery protection|

---|---|---
CUT OUT| CUT IN| CUT OUT| CUT IN
V| 8.5V| 10.9V| 21.3V| 22.7V
V=| 10.1V| 11.4V| 22.3V| 23.7V
V=
| 11.1V| 12.4V| 24.3V| 25.7V

Note: If your refrigerator enters Battery Protection mode too quickly, it is likely that your power supply voltage is insufficient and the low-voltage protection value is set too high. Or your DC power supply wiring is not suitable and cannot provide enough current. Check whether the power supply wiring is suitable and consider appropriately lowering the battery-protection setting. In order to ensure that the car can start normally, it is recommended to set the protection level at “V=” when using the refrigerator in the car.

Cleaning And Maintenance

  • Before cleaning your refrigerator, disconnect the power supply. Wipe the inner and outer surfaces of the refrigerator with a soft cloth dampened with a small amount of plain water or soapy water. Never wash the refrigerator by immersing it in water or pouring water over it because this will damage the electrical components.
  • When you will not be using the refrigerator for a long time, clean the inside and outside of the refrigerator and dry it well. Take measures to keep the appliance away from any moisture or dust to prevent mildew growth and foul smells from forming inside the refrigerator.

Error Code Descriptions

When the compressor, module, fan, and temperature sensor are abnormal and the input voltage is too low, an error code will appear on the display and the compressor will stop working. Once the abnormality is eliminated, unplug the power supply and plug it in again to return to the temperature displayed. The refrigeration mode of the compressor will start to work in 1 minute.

| Problem description| Resolvent
---|---|---
E 0| Temperature sensing head is damaged| Check or replace the temperature sensing head
E 1| Input voltage too low| Check the input voltage and adjust the battery protection level
E 2| DC fan over current protection| Check the cooling fan
E 3| Abnormal start of compressor| Turn off the power and let it stand for 30 minutes
E 4| Abnormal compressor speed| Adjust compressor operationmode (MAX/ECO)
E 5| Module temperature too high| Move the refrigerator to a ventilated place to lower the module temperature

Frequently Asked Questions

PROBLEM SOLUTION
Why isn’t my refrigerator working? Check that the power is on.

Check the voltage. It may be too low.
Check all connections from battery to refrigerator for looseness or poor contact.
Check the fuse.
Check that the refrigerator is turned on.
Why isn’t the refrigerator keeping my items cool?| Too much food may have been put in the refrigerator.
The temperature of the food in the refrigerator may be too high.
Check that the door is closed properly.
Check the door seal (gasket) for damage.
Check that ventilation around the refrigerator is adequate.
The environmental temperature may be too high.
The temperature setting may be too high.
Why do I hear water flowing in the refrigerator?| This is normal. It is caused by the flow of refrigerant.
Why is my refrigerator so noisy when it’s running?| Be sure the refrigerator is placed on a flat, level surface during use.
Check surrounding objects for vibration.
When the compressor starts and the motor moves from stasis to high speed, the sound will be slightly louder.
After the speed is stable, the sound will decrease, which is a normal phenomenon.
Why are there water droplets on the refrigerator body or door seal?| In humid environments, it is normal for moisture in the air to liquefy and condense into water droplets when the water comes into contact with a cooler object.
