pewag-MA00675-Traktor-Doppelspur-PRODUCT

Product Information

The product is a Traktor doppelspur, which is an anti-skid chain designed for use on tires. It helps improve traction and prevent slipping on snowy or icy surfaces. The chain is made of durable materials and is easy to install and remove. It is suitable for various vehicle types.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Spread out the anti-skid chains left or right of the tire tread and arrange them neatly. Depending on the space, the chains may have to be bunched together. Make sure the tension lever and tension chain face outwards.
  2. Place the mounting cable at an angle across the top half of the tire. Hook the anti-skid chain into the mounting hook.
  3. Drive slowly onto the chain to complete one full turn of the wheel. This will pull the chain onto the tire. Loosen the mounting hook of the mounting cable on the anti-skid chain. Remove the mounting cable.
  4. Close the side chain on the inside of the wheel, then on the outside. Ensure that the strands of the chain are not twisted.
  5. Pull the center studs through the rings and secure them by hanging their ends into the side chains using the shackle.
  6. Secure the loose chain end by hanging it into the side chain. Tighten the tension chain on the outside of the wheel and insert the tension lever into the next accessible link of the tension chain. Secure the tension lever with the ring. Secure the loose chain end by hanging it into the side chain.
  7. After driving a short distance (50 m or 150 ft.), stop the vehicle and re-check the tightness and fit of the traction chain on the tire. Re-tighten the chain if necessary.

Note: For demounting, care instructions, repair, and further maintenance information, please refer to the user manual provided by the manufacturer.
