Product Information

The product is the Panthera S3/U3 MED3134 wheelchair. It comes in two models: Typ 30 and Typ 30+. The wheelchair has a rear axle and adapter plate for assembly. It also includes various parts such as clamps, spacers, brackets, screws, locknuts, and washers.

Product Usage Instructions

1. To assemble the wheelchair, start by removing the wheels on both sides.
2. Check the correct placement of the stop pin, ensuring it is +1.5 rear axle on the wheelchair.
3. Verify the model type, whether it is Typ 30 or Typ 30+.
4. Place the rear axle and adapter plate according to the instructions for each model type.
5. Follow the provided picture and assemble the plate (right side) using the included parts mentioned in the assembly instructions.
6. If you have ordered a Lithium battery, assemble the battery holder as shown in the picture. If not, assemble the under placed battery bag.
7. For special assembly of the battery box under the S3/U3 wheelchairs, follow the provided instructions.
8. Mount the plastic clamp to one of the tipping levelers and then clamp them together, adjusting the clamp to match the actual seat width.
9. For joystick assembly with swing away, follow the provided instructions and mount the bracket on the right or left side of the wheelchair.
10. For mounting of joystick with parallel arm, follow the provided instructions and mount the bracket on the right or left side of the wheelchair.
11. For attendant control assembly on the right side, follow the provided instructions and use the specified parts.
12. For attendant control assembly on the left side, follow the provided instructions and use the specified parts.
13. For attendant control with joystick assembly on the right side, follow the provided instructions and use the specified parts.

Assembly instructions

1. Remove wheels on both sides.
2. Check the correct placement for the stop pin, and that it is +1.5 rear axle on the wheelchair.
3. Check the model type.
4. Placement for rear axle and the adapter plate.
5. Assembly the plate (right side) according to picture. For mounting on one side, the following parts is included.

6. Assemble the under placed battery bag or if have order a Lithium battery place the battery holder as the picture bellow.

7. Special assemble for the battery box under the S3/U3 wheelchairs.
8. Mount the plastic clamp to one of the the tipping levelers. Then clamp them to each other, see the picture below. The mounting of the clamp may need to be adjusted to match the actual seat width. Below are pictures of two mounting examples. Joystick Assembly with swing away MED1548****

Unless otherwise specified, use the following tightening torque.

Metric coarse threads, steel.

Sleeve.
