  • Do not stare into the light beam.

  • Ensure that the light beam is, at all times, aimed at an area which will not cause any hazards from the light source.
Hazards can be direct (e.g., eye damage with prolonged exposure). Hazards can be indirect (e.g., LASER light aimed at or entering the eyes of someone piloting an aircraft or driving a vehicle, or using other potentially hazardous equipment, can become a
distraction or cause temporary blindness; This can cause unsafe operation of the aircraft or vehicle or equipment which leads to subsequent injury).

  • When using, be aware of the possibility of weakened light from the laser being reflected towards you from water surfaces.

  • Lasers can cause temporary flash blindness from either direct or reflective light entering the eyes. Use suitable laser protective eyewear. Never use over an open hole without appropriate safety equipment. Users should carry out their own risk assessment if other hazards from temporary blindness are possible.

  • Always comply with any international and local laws or regulations regarding the use of LASER pointers and similar equipment.

  • To avoid risk of LASER light hazard, ensure the unit is switched off when not in use.

  • This equipment is not certified for Intrinsically Safe applications. If used in an area that is defined as an Intrinsically Safe zone, the user must ensure there is no risk of an explosive atmosphere being present.

  • When replacing batteries, do not over-tighten the battery cover. Rotate it clockwise until it is finger-tip tight.

  • The equipment may be cleaned by use of a soft cloth lightly moistened with a mild cleaning fluid (e.g., a diluted domestic dish-washing liquid). A disinfectant solution may be used to sanitise if required (e.g., a diluted domestic disinfectant). Do not

  • Do not short circuit or install incorrectly. Do not carry batteries loose in your pocket or purse (in case of accidental short circuit from other items).

  • Do not attempt to open, crush, heat or set fire to the battery.

  • Batteries may rupture or vent if disassembled, crushed, recharged, or exposed to high temperatures.

  • Batteries may explode or leak, and cause burn injury, if recharged, disposed of in fire, mixed with a different battery type, inserted backwards, or disassembled.

  • In the event of damage to the battery, do not handle without appropriate protective clothing.

  • If the battery leaks, stop using the product immediately.

  • If the battery fluid gets onto your clothes, skin, or eyes then rinse the affected area with water and consult a doctor. The fluid can cause injury and blindness.
