Product Information
The SURFACE 5 is a surface mounting cable outlet. It is designed to provide a convenient way to pass cables through a surface. The product is manufactured by ADEO Services, located at 135 Rue Sadi Carnot CS 00001 – 59790 RONCHIN – France. The product is covered by a 5-year warranty.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before any intervention, cut off the power supply.
- Depending on your installation, you can choose either of the following methods:
- (2.1) Remove the cover and pass the cable from behind.
- (2.2) Cut the frame to pass the cable to the side.
- Pass the cable through the plate. If necessary, open the cable clamp by unscrewing the screws.
- Insert the wire through the cable clamp and tighten the screws using a connector.
- Attach the function(s) to its holder.
- Clip on the cover(s).
It is important to note that this product must be installed in accordance with installation regulations and preferably by a qualified electrician. Incorrect installation and usage may result in electric shock or fire hazards. Do not open, disassemble, alter, or modify the device.
Recycling
This product carries the symbol for disposal of Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment (WEEE). In order to minimize its impact on the
environment, it must be disposed of in compliance with the European Directive
2012/19/UE. The user can choose to give the product to a competent recycling
agency or return it to the retailer where the new electric or electronic
equipment was purchased.
SETUP
Unclip the cover with a screwdriver.
DEPENDING ON YOUR INSTALLATION
- Remove the cover and pass the cable from behind, or
- Cut the frame to pass the cable to the side.
- Pass the cable through the plate.
- If necessary, open the cable clamp by unscrewing the screws.
- Insert the wire through the cable clamp and tighten the screws (providing a connector).
- Attach the function(s) to its holder. Clip on the cover(s).
