MATERIALS NEEDED:
Locate & mark studs behind drywall with a pencil. Hold Wall Plate in desired location. Ensure plate is level.
If
using a Large Wall Plate, mark the 10 identified fastening points with a
pencil. If using a Compact Wall Plate, mark the 5 identified fastening points.
Follow drywall anchor manufacturer’s instructions to install
anchors. For any markings that fall on studs pre-drill holes with a 3/32″
drill bit. Fasten drywall anchor manufacturer’s recommended
fasteners into the drywall anchors and #12 x 2″ screws into 3/32″ pilot holes.
Slide additional Wall Plates into place by guiding the new plate’s
Quick Alignment Tabs on the top, bottom or sides into place on the first Wall
Mounted plate. Repeat process to add additional plates and
fully customize your shop.

MATERIALS NEEDED: Have a partner hold up plywood backer in desired location and align it so it is in the center of a stud. Ensure plywood is level. Attach plywood to studs with a minimum of 9 wood screws. Hold Wall Plate in desired location. Ensure plate is level. Large Wall Plates require the 10 identified fastening points and Compact Wall Plates require the 5 identified points. Mark these holes with a pencil. Pre-drill all mounting holes with a 3/32″ bit. Hold up plate and fasten with 1/4″ x 1-1/4″ lag bolts. Slide additional Wall Plates into place by guiding the new plate’s Quick Adjustment Tabs on the top, bottom, or sides into place on the first Wall Mounted Plate. Repeat process to add additional plates and fully customize your shop.

Hold Wall Plate in desired location. Ensure plate is level. If using a Large Wall Plate, mark the 10 identified fastening points with a pencil. If using a Compact Wall Plate, mark the 5 identified fastening points. Pre-drill holes with 3/16″ masonry bit. Using 1/4″ x 1-1/4″ concrete anchors, fasten the plate to the wall. Slide additional Wall Plates into place by guiding the new plate’s Quick Alignment Tabs on the top, bottom or sides into place on the first Wall Mounted Plate.
