Product Usage Instructions
To use the HMDW30WS Under Cabinet Drawer Wall Hood with Blower, follow these steps:
- Decide on the operating mode: convertible – ducted or recirculating.
- If using the recirculating mode, consider purchasing the optional Recirculation Kit RECHMDW30 and Replacement Charcoal Filter CHFHMDW30.
- Install the hood in the desired location under the cabinet.
- Ensure the minimum distance above the gas or electric cooking surface is 30 inches.
- If necessary, adjust the height of the hood within the range of 12 to 19 7/8 inches.
- If ducting out is not possible, use the recirculating mode with the Recirculation Kit RECHMDW30.
- Connect the hood to a fixed electrical connection with the provided plug type (120 V 60 HZ).
- Once installed, use the control panel on the hood or consider purchasing the optional Built-In Remote Control Panel REMCPW for convenient control from a different location.
- Select the desired speed setting (4-stage available) and turn on the hood.
- To adjust the lighting, use the Multi-Level LED Lights with Fading Transitions feature.
- If using the Home ConnectTM feature, ensure that your Wi-Fi is enabled and follow the instructions in the user manual for setup.
- Regularly check and clean the washable stainless steel grease filters to maintain optimal performance.
