Product Usage Instructions

  • This product is intended for use by children from ages 2 years and up.
  • Before assembly, make sure to read and observe all statements and warnings in order to reduce the likelihood of serious or fatal injury. Keep this sheet for future reference.
  • Adult assembly is required. The product contains small parts and sharp points, so keep them away from children before assembly.
  • Before using the product, inspect it thoroughly. Tightly secure connections and replace any damaged or worn components. Contact The Step 2 Company for replacement parts.
  • Cleaning Instructions: Clean the product with water before use.
  • Decal Application: Clean and dry the area thoroughly. Center the decal in the desired area and apply pressure from the center to the outer edge.
  • Disposal Instructions: Please recycle the product when possible. Disposal must be in compliance with government regulations.
  • Important: This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC rules and Canadian ICES-003. Any changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.

SAFETY INFORMATION

  • • Provide continuous adult supervision at all times.
  • • Instruct children not to use product until properly assembled
  • • DO NOT remove any screws once installed. For disassembly, only remove parts not secured by screws.
  • • DO NOT over-tighten screws or they will not hold parts together appropriately.
  • • Take notice that screws are designed to pierce the plastic and form their own threads.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

Electronic Components:

  • Do not submerge in water or spray liquid directly on unit.
  • Wipe with damp cloth.

General Cleaning:

  • Use a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water.
  • Parents should thoroughly wash accessories with mild soapy water before use.
  • DECAL APPLICATION: Clean and dry area thoroughly. Center decal in area. Apply pressure from center to outer edge.
  • DISPOSAL INSTRUCTIONS: Please recycle when possible. Disposal must be in compliance with government regulations.

IMPORTANT:

  • Do not mix old and new batteries.
  • Do not mix different types of batteries.
  • Insert batteries with the correct polarity.
  • Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
  • Follow the battery manufacturer’s warnings and recommendations.
  • Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
  • Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before recharging.
  • Rechargeable batteries are to be charged only under adult supervision.
  • The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
