Introduction

The Wireless Translator by Sybersense IoT allows you to reuse existing Honeywell & 2GIG wired or wireless sensors with the Sybersense Panel. It is compatible with XP02/XP06 Security Panels and can convert the 345MHz signal to a 433MHz signal for wireless sensors. The Translator supports 2 wired sensors and has a unique Wireless ID for each zone. It also supports all sensor alarm, supervisory, and trouble signals, as well as Sybersense DHM system and Cover Tamper. The Translator has dual antennas to increase transmit and receive range and operates on a backup battery.

*Note:

  1. The XPT01 is facing the panel LCD.
  2. The panel is installed at the height of 1.5 meters. The XPT01 is placed at the height of 1.2 meters.
  3. R X Wireless Signal Range: Related to sensor RF Performance 3) Open Area, the location of the sensor can have a significant effect on range.

In open/unobstructed situation, the transmitter range may be greater. In adverse wireless condition, you may encounter a decrease in range.

Product Usage Instructions – Pairing with the Security Panel

  1. Enter Settings in the Panel.
  2. Select Devices and click + at the top right corner.
  3. Select the Translator device to add.
  4. Open the case and trigger the Tamper.
  5. Select a location for the sensor.
  6. Review the installation guide and confirm Done. The new Translator is added.

Flash Ready to add a sensor to panel via the translator.
Adding Mode Green Flash/Off
Flash Received a signal for adding a sensor.
Duplicated Mode Red Flash/Off
Flash The Panel tells the Translator that it is sending an already

added sensor signal to Panel. And Panel shows the duplicated SN on
the screen (tbd).
